"After about 40 Airbnb stays this was the least liked. Too much old stuffy furniture for me, undersized AC, so up stairs rooms have noisy wall ac units. Only street parking. Front door and back door did not have deadbolt. Lots of clutter in kitchen. Unremarkable back yard. A separate rental in backyard converted garage. I wouldn't stay here again."
"My husband and I stayed there to bring in the New Year of a few years ago. Beautiful home. Such a pleasant stay. Bed room was perfect. Breakfast was awesome. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Very clean. I will go back. The bed was oh so comfy. Everything you need to do is in walking distance. Prices are great. Thank you for a wonderful time. The Cannons"
"The house is beautifully designed, with plenty of rooms. It has a very antique homey feel to it, and I loved the interesting artwork throughout the house. The location is easy to get to and is close to food and entertainment yet far enough away from busy streets to be peacefully quiet."
"Have stayed here several times, it's a lovely home in a great neighborhood called Irvington in NE. Close to many great places to eat, I liked Milo's city cafe on Broadway the best, just around the corner. Light rail is within walking distance and the bus is a block away. Jody is terrific and also The Cottage is my favorite."
"I picked this place for our girls trip to Portland since we wanted a fun place to stay. It looked cute in the photos and all was well after booking. I checked the website when we landed in Portland to see what time we could check in and it was not until 3pm so we decided to go explore since we couldn't check in. I got a call later from the owner asking what time we would be there and this was at around 1pm. I was confused but was told that she would leave a key in a spot for us. When we arrived there was not a lot of street parking but after stalking a car we found a spot in front of the house. The outside is really cute with a great porch. Inside is kind of an adventure. Great vintage pieces and good Victorian accents. I asked the owner of there was anyone else staying the night we were and she said all but one room was full! We decided to haul our luggage upstairs to our room and check it out. The shared shower room upstairs was pretty dirty! There was dirt and ants in the shower and small black hairs. We got back from dinner at 8pm and literally the house was dark. There was no one there. We tried finding a glass for water and found that the kitchen was barricaded with something behind the door stopping us from going in there. When we woke up the next morning, still no one was there. I just wish the owner would have called us and told us we were the only ones there for security and safety reasons. I would not stay here again."
