La Quinta Inn Albany,

"I stayed here for 3 nights years ago while in town for my father's funeral. I was having a pretty crappy week and even though my friend kindly added on another night, and had already called the front desk, a middle aged front desk lady came up and beat on my door, pretty sure even tried to open it, and yelled that I need to go to the front desk immediately. I was so distraught, so my friend called them again and explained the situation and that we didn't appreciate that. She tried to apologize and said sorry for my loss when I checked out the next day, but that was a little too late and inadequate for what she hadn't done to begin with. Staff also can be seen smoking outside, which is just a bit tacky."

"They gave us the wrong room. Motel 6 has better rooms. The TV didn't work at first, the refrigerator didn't work at first either. The electrical was messed up. When we plugged in our phones to charge the light flickered. Our room keys had to constantly be reprogrammed cause they wouldnt work. Breakfast was horrible. We didn't attempt to eat there after the first day. The hot tub was broken. They wouldn't give us pool towels. We had to use out shower towels then call and ask them to come exchange them for us. We didn't say anything cause we over heard they said about the lady who complained when we checked in. "Don't comp her and don't let her extended her stay". I'll never stay at another LA Quinta."

"We stayed two nights at this inn. The rooms were dirty. We did not get maid service. Had to go to front desk to get towels. They never did clean or make up our rooms.dog feces on stairs both days. Breakfast offering was a joke plus looked bad. Then to top it off were were charged twice for rooms. Once by travellosity and then by motel. When we asked front desk clerk to correct this she stated she could not. When asked for manager she stated was off. When asked for his name and number refused. Her attitude was poor to say the least. Needless to say we will not be staying at La Quinta again T"

"Never again will I stay in a hotel in Albany, Oregon let alone this one. I obviously know there's not many African American people here so of course there's going to be some disrespectful looks coming our way, but the hate and racism is real. Being accused of being loud, cussing, and disrespectful in front of other guest and being accused for the hotel losing customer's is really farfetched; especially considering the fact that we just got back to our room and haven't even been here. There's a couple that has been doing what we are being accused of; a few rooms down, but of course because we are African American we get accused instead. I'm feeling really uncomfortable now and unfortunately when I asked for my money back and wanted to leave I was told that they can't refund us. Other than that the room was nice and clean and the general areas in the hotel were clean as well."

"One of the BEST hotels I've stayed at. The rooms were Clean and smelled nice even with it being super pet friendly. The Breakfast was excellent and the cookies before bed were a delicious treat as well. The entire staff was super friendly and always helpful, the customer service was top of the line A++++ Best of all, the beds were the most comfy I've ever slept in "
