Stayton Pharmacy

"Head pharmacy manager was belittling, steamrolled the conversation, and hung up on me. Told me I'm the issue and I'm not welcome as a customer anymore. Refused whomever he reports to, said he was at the top, but sure didn't act like it. Incredibly unprofessional and I have lost all respect for this small town pharmacy that should be better. So when I complained about the lack of communication on a backordered medication, I was told by the manager that they needed to have a picture of my ID in their file in order to further help me. I asked them why Walgreens didn't require a scan of my photo and he said they did. Well they do not, they ask to see it each time like every other pharmacy I've dealt with. Manager proceeds to read the law to me which clearly states that one or the other is required. Manager became frustrated I wasn't agreeing with his interpretation of federal law and told me to take my business elsewhere. He refused to identify himself and stated he was going to hang up on me and proceeds to hang up on me. When I went inside at the end of day to get said managers name, he denied hanging up on me, put words in my mouth, and said there was no management above him. If this is the best service they have (at the top), I'm disappointed and done. I tried to get ahold of management and or ownership, all they did was block me on Facebook. I'm sure Walgreens is no better but I sure wish for better."

"Warning if you have Express Scripts and want to use Stayton Pharmacy be aware that when they say they “take” Express Scripts they only mean they take them if they can source the medication at a cheap enough rate to earn a profit. This, by the definition of “take that insurance” is not actually taking the insurance. If you have to play Russian Roulette with your meds and it’s uncertain whether or not you can get all of your prescriptions filled it can be a very dangerous and difficult situation. I like to support local businesses but I will be taking my prescriptions to Salem."

"This pharmacy could not be worse. Every time we visit here, all they give us are issues. Today they are asking my kids' pediatrician to resend a prescription for a third time for a simple antibiotic. The doctor's office has confirmed they sent it multiple times and confirmed the correct pharmacy."
