"We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Leaping Lamb Farm. Scottie was a gracious host and the farm and cottage were just beautiful. We feel blessed that the folks stewarding the land and animals are so willing to share it with outsiders; we learned a ton and had a marvelous time roaming around, enjoying the area and interacting with the animals. I recommend picking up Scottie’s excellent book to learn more about their journey!"
"We haven’t stayed in a while, But I am Anthony. The once little kid who came with mom and dad to your farm twice. You probably remember me, when we stayed at your farm in like 2016 as a little kid. I’m not sure if you remember us or not. We will be back in the future. Also, I heard about the passing of Paco, I am very sorry. He was a sweet donkey. I remember cleaning his pen, and getting eggs from the chicken coop. I hope we see you soon"
"My wife was looking for a farm stay where we'd actually get to interact with the animals and she picked a winner! We had an amazing time visiting there with our nine year old. He loved roaming around on his own, and we all enjoyed helping with some of the chores, petting the animals, and relaxing. Denny was incredibly kind, never seemed in a rush, and had unending patience for endless questions. Tip for other EV owners: There was an easily accessible 110v outlet near the parking area for the cottage, and if you ask real nicely, you might be able to use a 220v outlet at the barn in a pinch, but check ahead to see what adapter you might need."
"Our family had an AMAZING time at Leaping Lambs Farm. It was exactly what we were looking for. The farm was absolutely beautiful and serene. Our kids are 2 years old and 3 months old, so we didn't participate in the farm chores portion of the stay, but we look forward to doing so in a few years when the kids are a bit older. We plan on making an annual trip to Leaping Lamb Farm and make the yearly visit a tradition in our family. We all had a blast walking the property, interacting with all the various animals, picking fresh eggs in the AM, interacting with the lambs in their pasture, picking vegetables from the garden to supplement meals, and playing with the kids on the vast property. We stayed in the cottage and it was perfectly clean and accommodating. Denny was our main host during our stay and was incredible. He was extremely helpful, informative, welcoming, and kind. He maintained a perfect balance of checking in with us but not being overbearing just the same. He was a fantastic host during our stay. The owner, Stevie, was out of town during our stay. Not long after our stay we received a hand written letter from Stevie in the mail thanking us for visiting the farm. It was a nice surprise to get the letter and a perfect close to the overall great experience. We are already looking forward to our visit next year and for many years to come!"
"Fantastic experience for families and kids! We recently stayed at the leaping lamb in August and my 4 year old loved it! She loved doing the chores and spending time with the baby goats. Scottie and the rest of the farm staff were amazing and friendly hosts. The farmhouse it self was comfortable and stocked well. We will definitely be coming back."
