"My son is on behavior meds that cannot be refilled until a couple days before they are out. There is a national shortage of this med so I have to call around each month to find what pharmacy has it. This time it was Walgreens. After confirming that had it in stock I called the pediatricians office and requested the Rx like I have for a couple of years. 48 hours later I had not heard back about the refill. I called and they only then said they were now out and didn't know when more was coming in. It was Friday so I scrambled to call other pharmacies and found Fred Meyer had it. I called the pediatrians office again told them what happened. I knew it would still take a day to fill so I waited until I was off work to call and ask what the status was. Only then did Fred Meyer say that because they needed to contact Walgreens to get the Rx canceled so insurance would pay the $342 for his months supply... But Walgreens is closed on Saturday... And Sunday... And Monday because of the holiday. Now my son has to go with out for 3 days, including a school day, because Walgreens couldn't get their stuff together, call when something was wrong, Fred Meyer didn't get started for more than 24 hours and also did not call to say something was wrong. Shame on them and the women I spoke to. I'll be calling thier corporate folks and hopefully they will look down the pipe line and retrain these people to do their job better."
"We paid for a prescription because they messed up the paperwork. Next day our doctor sent a new prescription knowing that our daughter would need more than 1 month if it. Pharmacist took it upon herself to cancel the prescription the insurance company was going to pay for. She had no business doing that, she is not a doctor. She is just filling the precriptions, not making medical and financial decisions for us. She needs to be fired!!!!"
"Spoke to Christa today and asked if she could send my rx to another pharmacy because they are out of stock. Boy was she rude. Cut me off and said they couldn't do it."
"I was treated badly by the women in the Fred Meyer Pharmacy. They were rude, dismissive, would not go the extra mile to help me, and passed me off onto others. I will never send my business to a Fred Meyer again. The first time I called, Julie insisted that she couldn't find me in the system, told me I must be wrong, and hung up on me. The second time I called, Julie finally did more digging and verified that I did have a prescription and it had been filled and then hung up on me as I was asking a question. When I went in, the second women insisted she couldn't find me in the system, until Julie finally stepped in and explained. They had created two different profiles for me because I had just moved and switched residency. In the middle of ringing me up, the second lady called a guy to take over and just walked away with no explanation. It was rude and dismissive. The new guy explained my meds and why the profile mix up had occurred. Then the second lady came back to help him because he didn't know how to merge the accounts. It took forever and she never apologized for the mistake, disbelieving me, passing me off, or her ugly attitude. Why are people who have no people skills or kindness hired to interact with other people? Try out any other pharmacy before this one."
"Great staff. They're always helpful and willing. They're always willing to answer any questions, and do thier best to help you. Always kind and caring. And there's barley any wait time for calls if they put you on hold which is rare. And they usually fill prescriptions very quickly. Genuinely one of the best pharmacys I've been to."
