Established in 1990, the Wetzel Family of Wines, which includes the Wetzel Estate, Chateau Bianca, and Opulent brands, has a rich history of winemaking spanning four generations. Nestled in Oregon's picturesque Willamette Valley, the estate vineyard benefits from an ideal location with maximum sun exposure and cool temperatures, resulting in award-winning, limited-production wines with intense flavor profiles.
Situated within the Van Duzer Corridor A.V.A., the estate vineyard is L.I.V.E. Certified and features well-drained sedimentary soil with high mineral content. Varietals produced include Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Marechal Foch, Chardonnay, and specialty products such as Sparkling Wines, a Ruby Port, Vin de Glace, and Northwest Comfort. The estate also offers stunning views of the Oregon coastal range and Willamette Valley.
