Rock Park Beach House

"This was a thank you trip and stay from a dear friend, the trip and friend was GREAT, however she felt very inbaressed in the state of the room, it was not as it was pictured in the add, where to start with just a few issues The window's where full of dirt, slim and mold, the sign on top of the fridge was covered in grease. And dirt, the emergency box kit showed it to had not been touched in a very long time it to was covered in grease And dirt, the shower up around the top was black with dirt The room was cozy however it had an old musty smell to it When my friend had to call ???? There response was " leave the dishes in the dishwasher" funny we never found it"

"Cottage 4 how do I start, the bed well we went and bought an air mattress to sleep on because the mattress that is there is like sleeping on springs with a blanket on them. The heat your either baking or freezing there is no in between. Will I stay here again? NO! Make sure you get you garbage separated right because if you don't they fine you, so I am just taking mine with me. The walls are paper thin to the point I listened to my neighbor farting at 6 am. I dont know who is supposed to clean but they are not doing their job. We found black mold growing on the seal for the freezer. They want you to clean the dishes before you leave but they obviously don't check to make sure the people that were there before have done it properly because I had to wash everything I used. The stove was gross under the edges of the drip pans were coated in grease and the burners are so old they are falling apart. It's really sad because it could be a really cute place but no one cares."

"Love this place. The cottages are cute, quaint, perfect for two. The small kitchen has everything you need - including crab crackers and a corkscrew. The view and location is the best part - right next to the state park."

"We've gone here for over a decade. #3 and #4 are our favorites and the A frame is great too! The hobbit house #5 is fun too! I guess, I just love the place all together. Everything in Yachats is in walking distance from Cottages."

"My late husband and I found this place by accident and what a happy accident it turned out to be. We stopped and ate and loved the area, went to the Sunday market and ran into the then owner of Rock Park Cottages, Virginia. She told us her mother had a place and this was years ago. We rented cabin 1 and it was heaven. It is quaint and just right. Before my husband died we had a family reunion and we rented all the cottages and everyone loved it. Hope to be back this coming year."
