"The hotel is in a good location. It's currently under construction for renovations, so there's stuff all over. The hotel was pretty quiet when in the room. Layouts for rooms with spa tub and ocean view or partial view doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The bed in the room with partial view of the ocean looks out at the vacation rentals, while the spa tub in the opposite corner has the ocean view (most prefer ocean view from the bed in a room with a partial view). Restaurant food was a bit spendy for the quality. Staff in the office were very nice. I would go back in the future again. It's probably better to wait until the renovations are complete for a full experience of the Adobe."
"Our third floor Jacuzzi suite was absolutely amazing! Super clean and comfortable. The location is a rocky shore, very close to the ocean but there's no beach if that's what you're looking for. The two staff members I spoke with were professional but seemed up tight and made strange comments, like asking me at the free breakfast if we had stayed the night. I just told her no, we were just there for the free breakfast :) other than a couple odd employees we had a wonderful time!"
"We’ve stayed at Adobe multiple times. You can’t beat the location, and the rates are reasonable too. The hotel (I wouldn’t really call it a “resort”) is a bit dated, but it seems they are remodeling rooms. The pool is large and well maintained, the drawback is that you have to go outside to get to it from parts of the hotel, which sucks when it’s cold. They have regular hotel rooms, and a couple of family suites with multiple bedrooms, which are adjacent to the main building. Those too could use a facelift, especially the bathroom. Walls are paper thin. You can hear next door neighbors talking at a normal volume. But for the price, they are a great value. The hotel allows dogs, which is awesome. You can also hit the 804 trail right from the hotel, or watch the ocean from many benches. Get an ocean view room, if you can. You won’t be disappointed. Staff has always been very very nice and the little gift shop inside is cute. There’s also a restaurant with the ocean view. We will definitely stay again."
"Our new favorite place to stay on the coast. The room was huge. I lived in an apartment smaller than that. Absolutely can't beat view from the jacuzzi tub. The lounge downstairs excellent. Good food, stiff drinks, and again a great view. Plenty to do and see close by. We were having such a nice time we decided to stay a second night."
