Reviews of Fred Meyer Pharmacy
"When I begin using this pharmacy, they were very prompt, courteous Now Covid, and covid this place has become very uncourteous towards its customers. They change their operating times to be closed during the most busy part of the day to take a 30 minute lunch. Most customers generally will take their lunch breaks and do personal business during their own lunch break and for Fred Meyer pharmacy to be closed during this time. Simply does not make sense. I do not blame them for wanting to take a lunch but I do blame them that the entire staff takes the lunch at the same time when they could at least due to scheduling this matter up and still remain open and service their customers and or patients this does not make sense. Furthermore, it takes an exorbitant amount of time to get a single prescription called in by a doctor to be filled usually at 24 to 48 hours before prescription is filled , this is not acceptable when a doctor is calling in a prescription to be filled There is no sense of urgency when it comes to their patients and or customers I am considering changing over to a different pharmacy just for this reason"
"Fred Meyers pharmacy has had my son's prescription for over 3 weeks now and have not filled it. My son is on Ritalin and can only pick up 30 days of script at a time. By the time he gets his meds he will have been out for almost a month. This is so messed up and there is nothing I can do about it. Besides choose a different pharmacy and hope I have better results. You shouldn't be aloud to except a script like this unless it's in stock . It's B.S how all the stipulations are put on us and you are free to do what you want."
"Very rude reception. Short, disconnected, slow. We were told 30 minutes only to wait another 30 minutes while they talked and laughed with each other. One hour later and no medicine. Late for work with two sick children. This place is going down hill. I will not be returning"
"I have always had a good experience at this pharmacy. However, it can take one bad experience to question all future experiences. Staff is always friendly and picking up my prescription is hassle free and seamless. My last encounter felt like a fiasco. I pay cash for my prescription as I’ve submitted PA’s previously with out approval and discount cards don’t apply. This is my choice to pay verse attempt a different medication or have side effects from past generic medications. I was informed the multiple different options instead of name brand which I appreciate, however, as stated multiple times to kyia, I wanted name brand. Eventually I had to clarify what the prescription stated. My prescription stated DAW and cash pay. This was very frustrating. As a health care worker, I understand all the options available to patients. As a health care worker I understand the significant shortage across the country but also locally. My prescription was filled generic and I explained my situation. I was able to receive a partial prescription with the name brand medication. When I clarified to see the prescription before paying I was informed, “the price should tell you its brand name”, I agreed however, regardless I verified. This experience with this pharmacy member was discouraging. I work in a very very busy clinic, even with shortages, responses like this are unnecessary. Will I return to this pharmacy? Most likely, because this is one of the few pharmacies that carry this medication. Hopefully this was an isolated event and others don’t encounter the challenges as a patient or customer with this pharmacy member."
"Canby Fred myers has less staff but still is 5 times faster. I have to wait 45 minutes in line to get my daughters prescription that was turned in 2 hours before just to be told “we are now just seeing it. It’ll be a hour till it’s ready you can have a seat.”"
