"At the age of 35, I was in a horrible accident that rendered me unable to walk for over a year. I rapidly gained weight after that as I exploded from 230 pounds, up to 400 pounds by the age of 37. I developed full blown diabetes by the age of 38. This ENTIRE time by the way, I was complaining about my legs and feet being weak and excruciatingly painful. All I was ever told was to eat healthier and lose weight. DUH. Ya think??? I was on the maximum amount of metformin and rarely left the house either due to the pain. No one took me seriously. One doctor even had the nerve to deny me a motorized chair because she said"they needed me up and walking." Even despite the fact that I told them on every visit that I could barely stand the pain anymore. Seeing as how I was NOT obese until 2 years after my accident, I have hypothyroidism, and diabetes, plus I was on the max amount of metformin, one of these brilliant doctors should have gone on to Google for 20 minutes like I finally did (AFTER full blown neuropathy set in last week at the age of 40) and done just a little bit of research to find that they SHOULD have been CLOSELY monitoring my B12 and D levels the ENTIRE FREAKING TIME that I have been ON metformin. But not ONCE has any of the brilliant doctors done so. Not even once. I guess they assumed I'm too young to actually care about. Or too fat. Too obsolete. I HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN WHO DEPEND ON ME!!! To them, I'm not obsolete! Now I will likely only live another 10 years and likely have my limbs amputated!! Good looking out guys!! Every damn appointment, I'd complain about the amount of pain I had walk walking or standing. Never once did anyone bother to care or even consider that I might matter to someone. They treated me worse than a red-headed step child. ALL of these issues could have been prevented. The diabetes itself could have been prevented had they simply treated me like any other nonfat appearing human. Instead of addressing the underlying issue that was keeping me from being able to walk, which is a bone spur on my inner spine btw, they just made generic remarks like, "we need you up walking around" or "we only want to do surgery as a last strategy".... I did the research. Removing a spinal bone spur is a ROUTINE surgery. People get them all the time and are fine. Doing a revision surgery on my talus would had been an option. But NOW the only option is too late, there is no option. You'll eventually be an amputee and you'll be dead by your daughter's 14th birthday. Thanks a lot guys... NOT!! I had an entire life ahead of me. A very bright future ahead of me. Now my future is DEAD. These lazy pencil pushers have/are essentially murdering me. The incompetence of these overpaid, grossly undereducated doctors at this place, and apparently most other places is just astonishing. I'm in total shock right now. It's like I am watching someone else's life on a movie. These people have destroyed mine and my children's lifes by their sheer incompetence. The only true good doctors they have here work at the after hours clinic. The main doctors are all trash here. Totally judgemental and ignorant trash. Best piece of advice? NEVER depend on your doctor to go out of their way to prevent your death. Your well being is NOT on their agenda EVER. You must fight for your right to live. Unfortunately I didn't realize that until it was too late. Now I must wait out the next decade without legs while approaching my fate. When all they had to do was simply order a few tests. That's all... Order some labs and then care and follow-up. They couldn't even do that!"
"I was in the other night and my appointment ran past 6pm. When I went to leave the front door was locked. I found one person emptying garbages and asked about opening the front door for me. They barely looked at me, told me it was locked and to go out the exit down the hallway. I ended up wandering through hallways with office doors wide open. I could've done or taken anything and nobody would've been the wiser. This place used to be great, not so anymore. I also find it very interesting that my previous review has been deleted..."
"I just moved to Eugene and prior to moving, I was scheduled to consult with a hip surgeon due to a hip labral tear. and a pubic stress fracture (I'm a high mileage runner since I do 100 mile races) I did my research and found Dr Hudson from the Oregon Medical Group. His resume mentions that he does hip arthroscopic surgery so I made an appt. I just got a call today from (Haley) his practice saying that he does not do hip. I am irritated as I waited 6 weeks for this appointment. If indeed, he does not do hip, then take it off from your website."
"I have always been treated well by those who answer phones and make appointments. They seem happy to help, not like I’m interrupting them. The various clinicians I have seen have always been “present”. They make me feel I am their priority at that moment and have never rushed me, or made it feel I was an interrupting their work. They have all been professionally friendly and caring. They are great!"
"Had been going for several months and adjusted my schedule for them a couple times. I then missed one appointment, they claimed they called and told me I needed to call and confirm my future appointments. Despite getting several other calls from them, this one magically never came through. They canceled all appointments and had already filled them. Justin is a good PT, but this administrative staff has terrible practices and policy, so I can't recommend going here."
