3rd Street Flats

"We stayed in the 2nd flat for 3 nights. Pros: the location is great in the sense that it is centrally located to some great restaurants, bars, and cute shops in downtown McMinnville. The apartment itself was also very cute with a spacious living room, dining room, and kitchen. Customer service from the Atticus hotel was also great. Cons: the bedroom is quite small, it almost doesn’t fit the queen sized bed. The bed was also uncomfortable and seemed borderline broken. The only option to shower is a claw foot tub that would be challenging for anyone on the taller side. Lastly, it is very loud in the evenings, especially on the weekend, from street noise below. There were also a consistent string of unhoused folks hanging out or sleeping very close to the property. If I stayed with them again, I would either stay in the hotel or a different flat. The noise & bed were dealbreakers for me."

"The staff is great and very accommodating. The rooms are very nice but it is an older building and you can hear people above you if there are people in those rooms there. Very steep steps going in if you have any leg issues. Great location and restaurant."

"I recently stayed at 3rd Street Flats for a girls weekend and it was a great experience. The apartment-style rooms are so cute and the staff were really accommodating. "We stayed in the 9th flat and it was not only huge and gorgeous but very comfortable. It can be a little loud bearing guest above you walk around but that’s hard to control in an under building. All the staff at the Atticus next door were amazing. Hannah Wood helped us plan our wine tours, Hannah S. At the night shift front desk was incredible, showing us parking, even holding a spot in the street while we moved our car, giving us so much advice, just excellent service. Bell staff, everyone Amazing! The sister hotel Atticus was booked but I am glad we got the flats as there was so much extra room! You are walking distance to everything and 15 minutes to so many wineries."

"We stayed in the 4th flat and would come back in a heartbeat. It’s got warm historic brick walls, 11ft ceilings and windows all around with views of the street. Sexy, sumptuous and cozy are what I’d use to describe this particular flat. The bed was insanely comfortable and we loved the little touches like local coffee from Flag & Wire and a bottle of wine and chocolates upon arrival. We didn’t cook while here but the kitchen came fully equipped if you wanted to do that. The location was peak McMinville, too! We roamed 3rd and ate and drank to our hearts content. This spot is the perfect home base for exploring downtown."
