"Seemed like a cute place, but they tried holding a live music event here (12/19), and I showed up and couldn't even get in the door. Not really big enough for entertainment like that. Will be back eventually to actually see what this place is like."

"Wow, what an incredible place! I’d been eyeing this bar for a while and I finally made it there on my birthday for some live music… it feels like you’ve been transported to a different place. Musicians were fabulous and the vibe was very cool… felt like a bar you’d find somewhere in NYC. What a gem! I’ll definitely be back."

"An incredibly wonderful and unique atmosphere that ranks among the best in Portland. I wandered in with a small group and was blown away by the vibe as a musician played accordion and sang classical Russian songs. The cocktails were excellent and the bartender was friendly and welcoming as well. If you’re looking for a special place to show out of town guests, a date spot, or just a place to unwind and sink into a cozy vibe, I can’t think of a better spot. This place is special and deserves to be sold out every evening."

"In all honesty, a part of me doesn’t want to write this review so that I can selfishly keep this little gem all to myself! Alas, I want this place to succeed so that I may enjoy it for many years to come. My fiancé and I came here one Saturday night for a cocktail before a movie. I ordered the house martini because I was intrigued by the fact that it has jalapeno juice in it, and the stellar bartender, Sammy (sp?), suggested a vodka I could try since I prefer vodka martinis. Hands down, this was the best martini I have ever had!!! And I think the vodka is local, too, which is always a bonus. The space is small which makes it perfect for an intimate date night or a small group of friends. I can’t wait to come back here for some live performances of classical pieces, but even without the live musicians, I used Shazam an embarrassing amount to the classical playlist they had going. In short: great drinks, great music, great service, and a great addition to NE Portland!!"
