She was gentle, compassionate, fast, caring, and her technical level was supreme. She took her time to explain things and show me images on the computer and explain how the 3D imaging really works. "Unfortunately, I’ve been to CMI-Bridgeport numerous times. Fortunately, they’ve made my time there easy. It’s been easy to make appointments (appointments are a must!), the wait times to be called in have been short and the tests themselves have gone flawlessly. I trust them to do any imaging work my physician says I need done."
"They do not bother to verify insurance prior to scheduling patients for ultrasound or xray (despite making patients manually enter their insurance info online). So patients may take time off work, be fasting, or not emptied their bladder for 8+ hours and then be advised they are out of network on arrival to their appointment here, likely after waiting for a month or so for the appointment. Wasting the patients time and gas money. Then that patient has to contact the referring provider, who has to take more time out of their incredibly busy day to place another order to an alternate location, which the patiwnt then has to take more time out of their day to schedule, and additional time off work to get in for an appointment elsewhere. This leads to a significant delay in patient care and likely poorer outcomes. This is unacceptable... but don't worry, they will laugh it off and say it's OK because they don't charge any fees for the appointment being booked and not being able to be completed due to their poor process of scheduling/lack of insurance approval. I will not be referring any patients here for imaging, and will be sure my colleagues and medical care teams are all aware of this. And they are associated with Providence, but not actually part of Providence, so Providence also cannot help."
