"We have used b&g club for years now. Its a good place although its very disorganized and unprofessional. The staff is friendly but not very helpful. When all of the info online and on the building itself says open 10am-630pm...it should be honored. There is nothing that reads that its actually open (to kids) @ 1245pm. Parents usually adjust work schedules around the hours posted. Just a little advice from a parent who works 60-70 hours per week."
"3 years ago My 2 daughters went here for about a year. The entire time we had problems with billing and membership cards (none made for that entire time still). One day my 9 year old daughter came out and said a boy had groped her. I immediately took her inside where it just so happened that current manager was there. When I told him about the incident his first question was, "does this sort of thing happen often with her?" We left and never went back. Back then I couldn't put into words how enraged I was by that question. I do understand that this is a great place for children, however, for my family it was not. I leave this review not to condemn but to show other parents our experience in case it happens to another child. Over 1 year later they were still trying to harass me about billing for my foster child which, was agreed upon enrollment, was the states responsibility to pay."
"It's an amazing envirement for children like my and I'm 12 and I moved here 3 years ago not knowing even how to play any sport and now I love sports! Not only the sports but the after school program! I'm not the type of person who wants to come home from school and have nothing to do, but watch tv and eat chips. But at this place there are so many activities and new friends. My first time I walked in scared with not knowing anyone there and I already have more than 20 friends there. I have so much fun!!!!"
"My daughter has been going here for 5 years!!!! We are so lucky to have this organization here.....and better yet ...such a well funded and exceptionally ran organization!!!! We moved to Medford for a couple years and there was nothing that compared to SWOYA!! Again .....this place is a Bay Area gem!!!"
