"Dr. Whitaker has been absolutely amazing. I do not like how he speaks to me because I feel like he is talking to me like I am a child when I am the parent but he is amazing with my kids. I have been trying to get my children to read every night and use that as a wind down, but Dr. Whitaker said that and now my kids are reading for minimum an hour every night before bed. He could definitely work on the doctor and parent relationship but overall he’s amazing with my kids."

"Dr. Whittaker is nice, but he does not listen. My daughter is autistic, and I've known it for the longest time. I tried talking to Dr. Whittaker about it to get her the help she needs. He laughed. He told me she's just not wanting to listen. He told me she's not autistic. She RAN AWAY FROM THE SCHOOL and was FOUND IN THE STREET because they didn't take it seriously. She doesn't understand danger. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS "DOCTOR" again. My daughter could have died. She just now got her autism screening I've been asking dr. Whittaker to approve for years somewhere else and tests show she indeed is highly autistic."

"Dr. Whittaker was a nice man but the rest of that office is full of judgmental jerks. I am a first time mom and doing the best that I can just like every other mom out here in the world. For his staff to belittle new mothers after THEY made a scheduling error, especially!, when being a first time mom... You've no idea how things usually work. I didnt know that my daughter was supposed to be seen at 2 Months for her first set of shots because my last appointment with Dr. Whittaker, I was instructed to schedule an appointment at the front desk when she reaches 3 months. I did EXACTLY as I was instructed and I got treated very poorly and was never given the chance to explain nor did they even care. I had called their advice nurse because my daughter was doing this snorting thing.. almost like a throaty snore and I was worried it might bother her breathing. I called wondering if I need to get her in before her 3 month appointment and why she couldn't be seen sooner, at the least, for a weight check. (She was born 5 weeks early, weight checks are important to me) and this advice nurse was so rude to me. I ended the phone call by hanging up and proceeded to cry my eyes out. She made me feel terrible when I have done absolutely nothing wrong. I changed providers today and I could not feel more relieved that I no longer have to take my daughter to an establishment that is more worried about making parents feel like bad parents than the well being of the child. These examples are only the top of the list. This was not the first time that the staff there acted poorly and as much as I liked the doctor.. the office staff interacts more with you than he does and no one deserves to be degraded when you are doing all you can for your little(s)"

"We finally settled down in MAC after 8 years as a military family bouncing all over and never being able to see the same Dr all the time and finally found Dr. W and I am so happy. My 2 kids 4 and 8 years old love him. So lucky to have found him. The staff is so nice and welcoming also. My kids love going to there Apts."
