"Greatful to have headstart and lucky that my son got in early headstart"

"This is the first time ever I have had the change a review for any place. Head start seems like a good place for your children to start a early learning, prior to Kindergarten. Yet, I've noticed most of the classroom for this company are literally just glorified baby sitters. Ontop of that, they move classroom aids way to frequently. How does it make since to move a classroom aid to another class that is short staffed, only to leave that classroom short staffed. Then when there are issues with a child or parent, instead of figuring out the problem, they just move the teacher to a different location. Which in turn leaves that class without a teacher, until they can find a new one. So how does this make it an stable learning environment for the children? There bus system is also hit and miss. The a bus driver calls out, there is no bus to pick up the chilled to get them to the class. Then it falls on the parents to get them to school. Yet, that makes it hard for most families, if there is only a single vehicle. So if that vehicle is gone, due to a parent having to go to work? Well, that leaves the child missing a da of school. Tell me how that is a stable way for children that love going to school, to learn? So, if you want a free early learning education for your children. Just know, that you may get lucky with your child being placed in a class, where the teachers actually teach vs getting a glorified babysitter. So in turn, I do not recommend Community Action Head Start for any child. Maybe Family Building Blocks, may possibly be better, but you never know."

"This pre-school is filled with nothing but hard working and dedicated staff everywhere you turn! You have to have extreme amounts of patience to deal with this age group and let me tell you...they got it!! Completely free program for struggling families in case anyone reading this didn't know that. And they offer endless helpful services and resources for you and your little ones. Pre-school is so very important and it shows through the headstart kiddos every year!"
