Oak Street Child Development Center (OSCDC) is a certified early childhood education and childcare center located at 540 Oak Street in Eugene, Oregon. Established in 1991, OSCDC provides quality childcare for infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten age children. The center is run by Busy Barn, Inc. (Parent Association for OSCDC) and Center Director, Cindy Bellamy, who work together to create a safe, enriching, and educational environment for children to thrive.
At OSCDC, children have the opportunity to participate in exciting events and activities throughout the year. The center also offers a unique transportation service with the Oak Street Bus, equipped with car seats for safety. Additionally, parents have the option to participate in Scholastic orders to encourage reading and earn free books for their children.

"Love this place, and so does my child. They went above and beyond to assist my son in adjusting to preschool. The staff truly cares. The teachers go out of their way, attending classes on weeknights and weekends to further their education in early childhood development. The kitchen manager knows each child allergies and preferences by heart. The director is hands on, and has a relationship with every kid. I strongly recommend this school!!!! They are rock stars!!"

"I wish I had known this child care center earlier. After two other child care centers in town, I know the difference between a great center and something else. Oak Street Child Development Center provides a peace of mind for me when I am at work. My son has learned so much here and amazes me with his language and other skills all the time. The children are read to often. A musician comes to sing and play instruments with the kids every week. Teachers take the children to play outside all the time to enhance their learning. There are all kinds of learning activities in different themes each month. The teachers at the center are wonderful. They are great at telling me information about my son's development. I go to them whenever I have questions about being a parent. I highly recommend Oak Street Child Development Center."
