"My niece made us aware of the Kumon program, and we were lucky to find a Kumon center right here in Wilsonville. Both my children have attended since age 4 taking reading and math. My wife and I feel the Kumon curricula is the only way to have an honest assessment of your children's education. My 6th grader is factorizing higher order equations, and my 3rd grader works with exponents with fractions. When we get their standardized test's results from their elementary school they routinely score above the 95 percentile in reading and math, and we are sure that it is in big part of what they learn at Kumon. The instructors are well prepared, and kind, and they review the material with the kids, and the staff is very accommodating (e.g. leaving the material to be picked up when the kids cannot make it to the session, adjusting the material according to our feedback, and even escorting kids to the next door TaeKwondo school when needed ). This is definitely a place where you want to send your kids if you want them to have a world-class education."
