"Beach Books is easily one of my favorite bookstores. It is located in beautiful Seaside, OR. The store and staff are small compared to their competitors, but this is what makes Beach Books so special. The owner and staff curate books, puzzles, cards and so much more to feature amazing artist and authors that are often overlooked by the mainstream. I have discovered authors and artists who I would have missed if I shopped at Amazon (which I don't). Nothing beats the personal touch of a reference from their staff while standing in their cozy shop or calling an order in when I am away from Seaside."

My previous shopping experience here with a different employee a few weeks prior had left me with a very different feeling and honesty had I not received numerous gift cards to here, I might not have returned. "Absolutely adorable book store in the sweet little beachside town of Seaside. You open the door of the old restored building and are transported to another time. Take a deep breath to smell the books and listen to sound of your footsteps tap on the beautiful hardwood floor. They have a little something for everyone. They of course carry books, but also coloring books, cards, calenders, and some pretty cool gift ideas. I purchased some of the cheeky kitchen towels as well as other items dripping with comedy and soaked in shenanigans and malarkey. I appreciated the liberated and free spirited atmosphere. The building is gorgeous and has a cozy little seating area up in the loft. I could literally sit in there all day if I could. The staff was friendly and helpful with locating specific items. It is great bookstore to check out on a rainy day. It is also a great opportunity to support a local shop when you are visiting Seaside. Beach Books is a true treasure."

"Stopped by on a whim and had such a great experience! Vast selection with very knowledgeable staff, especially Hilary! She recommended a creepy book for me and it was just what I wanted. (The Last House on Needless Street - would recommend!) Many books have a tag attached with a thoughtful hand written review from a staff member. Such a nice touch! Will definitely stop here again when we're in town!"
