"I thought it was just me, but I totally agree with the latest reviews about the service. Some employees are wonderful, but the young boy just treats you like you're a nuisance. He stopped waiting on me in the middle of my order and started with someone else. I'm a nice person, I don't deserve to be treated that way. I just moved here and buy almost $200/week. I will drive the 40 minutes to Gartners Meat Market for now on. Such a shame, because it's a nice place with a nice selection."
"I've been a customer here since they opened, but today was my last day. I stopped in for some Mary's chickens and noticed all of them were expired by two days. Raw chickens mind you, not frozen. Anyway, when I told the kid working there he just said "Yep." Out the door I went. I don't know what's happened in the past year, but the quality and service here have gone down far enough to make the prices laughable."
"They have great meat and pretty good prices. The only thing that turns me off is some of the employees and how they treat the customers. Not all of the employees have this problem but there are at least a couple who treat you like a nuisance. One particular occasion, I got there close to closing and really upset them. They kept saying “Anything else?!?!” aggressively after each meat I ordered. I live in Vancouver, and stop here a couple times a month and stock up on meat. It is not professional to treat customers this way. I am always polite and I try to understand that they may not enjoy their job, but this pushes me to look for another butcher."
"I was a customer of Timberline Meats since they opened their business. After being treated like I was a burden, rather than a customer, I’ll drive a little farther to go somewhere that appreciates my business. I walked in at 5:50pm on a Friday evening, 10 minutes before closing time and was treated more like I was at the DMV than a meat market, no thanks."
"We frequent this place & always get amazing service! The meat selections are always on point! We had short ribs that expired quickly once, they replaced them without question. Today I ordered delivery. WHAT A SERVICE!! Such a blessing! I don't think they even charge for the delivery service, it was just tip-based. As a new momma, I can see this being a new regular for me. The delivery came right on time & now I have dinner for tonight & tomorrow!"
