"My review pertains to the customer service. Although polite and professional, my complaint about a website discount that I believe I am entitled to for a recent order was not granted and I was not allowed to speak to the owner or a manager to plead my case."
"Decided it was high time for a cast iron skillet and found that this store existed (unbeknownst to us) in our very own hometown. Went there and spent about 45 minutes with Aaron who educated us thoroughly on products, history, care and all things Finex. Yes, these are expensive items but they will last a lifetime with proper care. So well-made and quite artfully designed. Very impressive products and staff!"
"I purchased the Dutch oven. After the purchase I discovered they are owned by Lodge. Once the order arrived, it was a rough finish and had small craters in the cooking surface. This product is no different than a MUCH cheaper Lodge. The fancy handles do not make up for the price. Not worth it at all. And they are making me pay the return shipping because they do not consider it their problem. The description on the web page is misleading in my opinion. The skillets are a smooth finish and although they say the Dutch Oven is “Stone Tumbled”, it didn’t explain the finish would be as rough as it is. If the finished it like they do the skillets, I’d still have it and would feel it was worth the price. Since the web page is unclear, I feel they should refund the shipping or provide me with a finished piece."
"My family members chipped in on a 10'' skillet for me as a subtle suggestion that I start cooking more. I have... and I love using my Finex 10'' skillet. Here is why... 1. They design and produce their products in the USA (Setting an example for everyone). You pay for what you get and what you get is the absolute best quality. 2. Their product endures. I have worked in the restaurant industry for a decade and my 10'' Finex skillet is still the heartiest, most dependable piece of cookware I have come across (including what I have seen in professional and industrial kitchens). 3. Their design is incredible. This versatility of this product continues to amaze me. We have used it for EVERYTHING. We are going on a long camping this trip this week and are excited to try some recipes on the campfire with our new lid. The pour spout corners and rapidly cooling grip are as effective as they are innovative. The chain link scrubber that came with is awesome as well. 4. Their customer service is amazing. I ordered the new lid over the weekend with expedited shipping to ensure that it would arrive prior to our departure for our camping trip. Early Monday morning I received an email from their customer service manager Aaron. He was refunding me a portion of the shipping charge because the regular shipping would arrive on the same day. What company does that? Only a great one like Finex. Thank you Finex. You have made me a lifetime customer."
"The first thing I fried on the Finex 12" skillet, was an egg, at low heat, with a little butter. It released easily and slid around the surface as if it was on a non-stick. This skillet seems to hold its seasoning better than the popular Lodge cast-iron 12" skillet. The pan is built heavy, has a smooth, polished cooking surface, and shows excellent quality of workmanship. Both the skillet and its heavy, tight-fitting lid, are made with great precision. And I believe this company's whole intention is to leave its mark through the centuries, with very well crafted cookware which is made to last nearly forever. It appears that a Finex skillet can dramatically mitigate the need to hunt for older Wagner and Griswold cast iron goods. It is likely to hold its value, which may even increase as the demand for cast iron cookware continues to rise. We shall definitely see."
