"Came from Walla Walla looking for good Chinese food because there is none there. Family Garden was exactly the place we were looking for. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Also affordable and good portion size. The staff was friendly and prompt. Such a refreshing experience after having bad experiences in our home town. We will be making the drive in the future"

"Always wonderful authentic food made to order. They are so kind and will make dishes gluten-free upon request. We go every Christmas Eve for dinner, it has become a fun family tradition. You can also order to go and they are fairly quick with orders."

"My wife and I stopped here for dinner while passing through the Tri-Cities at 7 PM on a Sunday night. The restaurant was about 2/3 full and they had several takeout orders waiting to be picked up. Typical American-Chinese Restaurant but they also have sushi and other Japanese cuisine. We ordered hot tea, spring rolls, orange chicken, beef fried rice, and a small bowl of hot and sour soup. The tea and soup came out immediately. I kid you not, it seemed like it was on the table before the waiter walked away. The chicken and rice dishes also came out quickly and were enormous, maybe twice what we are served at most Seattle-area restaurants and way more than the two of us could eat. The soup had a slight burnt flavor, but everything else tasted fantastic. The best part is that the bill for the entire meal came to a little more than $33 not including tip."

"Excellent portion sizes and prices. The restaurant was clean and seemed friendly. Unfortunately we personally did not enjoy the food. I've been spoiled by Vancouver and Seattle Chinese restaurants and this did not live up to those standards. What we tried tasted similar to what you get at a buffet or grocery store deli. The sauces were thick with too much cornstarch so they had a jelly texture, plus they were bland. I really disliked the fried tofu- it was greasy and far too soft with an uncooked texture. Everywhere else that serves fried tofu typically uses a firmer tofu, whereas this was like silken tofu with a custard like quality. My partner also did not enjoy the sesame chicken. Flavor was average, but their was far too much soggy breading vs actual chicken . The rice, however, was cooked perfectly. I will not be eating here again, too many other places are better."

"This place is one of my favorite spots to eat in the tri I love the food it’s fast and the service is amazing and the food is actually spicy whenever you want it to be! I had the generals and I will definitely be back for lots more! Great prices too"
