Safeway Fuel Station

"Keep getting creepy feels from the older gentleman in the morning. He leans into my car to talk to me, even when I'm on the phone. Then doesn't unhook my car in a prompt amount of time. Also heard many who have had issues with the pumps not reading correctly and their has been no resolve"

"I got gas at hilltop safeway today. My truck is only a 26 gallon tank, and I was not in E. I had about 8 gallons remaining. I filled regular at pump 4, and the machine showed 23.481 gallons but I only had 3/4 tank. Upon calling and speaking to the manager about how the pump may need recalibrated due to this, he said they are already done to the best they can. The only thing he could offer was a 30 cent discount next time. Nothing about recalibration to avoid this happening again or to someone else. I went to another gas station and it took about 6 gallons to fill up directly after. Therefore, they charged me $30+ MORE for gas I didn't receive. I won't be going back to Safeway. Pumps should be calibrated if it's automatically tracked. Otherwise, it needs to be manually charged at this point. This is admitting to stealing and false advertisement by saying they are calibrated to the best they can get them. That's still not giving me what I'm paying for. Reviews have been posted and Oregon City has now been warned."

"I’m not one for reviewing gas stations but this one really stands out. There are 3 teenagers Blake, Isaac and Stephen. They all are funny and get stuff done. I like to come here a lot now. Well done all 3 of you."

"Attendant didn't put the hose in all the way and it popped out, spilling gas that I was paying for on the ground and my foot. I rinsed off my shoe as best I could, but obviously it smells like gas now. After using up the gift cards I had on hand, about $42, I asked the manager who was now helping me if he could top it off. He replied that he could "give me like a dollar" for the spilled gas. I didn't want to waste more time, so I just left. I understand that accidents happen, but this response to not make any effort to make it right was simply unacceptable."

"Nothing worse than employees that don’t want to work! I pulled up in my diesel and the attendant yells at me I can pump my own fuel, which is great and all, but there was one car in the whole station and and 5 employees! How about you earn your paycheck!!!"
