"I heard the manager (Myra?) with the messed up lip injection call my wife "a spicy one" when she got upset (not even mad just mildly upset) a product was out of stock. My wife is latina and we felt really uncomfortable because there was definitely some racial motive behind it. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!"

"I dropped by during a trip with friends, since i can only ever order from sally’s online living in humboldt, and honestly now i wish i stuck to online. When i came in it seemed like nobody was there, until i realized an employee stocking the shelves in the corner of the store and another almost literally “bashing” a previous costumer that came in because of their skin color from what i pieced together. The worker stocking seemed so uncomfortable, meanwhile the “manager” (found out later when i came in after she had left on my way back home) continuously threw racial comments about mexicans. I came in to get some hair dye and find extensions, since online is sometimes hard to gauge proper color, and yet left immensely offended and uncomfortable. I never write reviews , but please be aware if the manager Moyra is working and I’m sorry for the people that work under her that have definitely seen more of this behavior i’m sure."

"I just moved into the area so I’m already feeling off about going out to places and meeting the locals and with the experience I had here i’m already missing home. Moira? is that her name? was so unwelcoming. the minute i walked into the door she just gave me a look up and down and didn’t bother to greet me at all. other employees were there stocking stuff were very helpful and kind but she was just rude.. i could hear her talk badly about my appearance to other employees as if the store isn’t dead quiet where you can hear everything.. when i asked for assistance she talked to me like i was an idiot and at times it felt like she was mocking me. never coming. back …"

"I came in the other night 30 minutes before close and had the most amazing help I’ve ever received in any store I’ve stepped foot in in my life. I didn’t catch the name of the human who helped me but they had short colorful hair (pinks and blues maybe) and an “in training” badge on. Quite literally the most insightful and helpful human ever. They recommended a couple things for my fry and damaged hair and the products completely changed my hair texture in a good way. The hair mask they recommended will be a staple in my hair care routine for the rest of my life. If you are reading this, you are absolutely amazing and deserve the fattest raise you are amazing thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!"

"Employees were NOT helpful at all. They seemed more interested in brushing us off then answering any questions. You have to know exactly what you want when you come in here, and any questions you have will have a short, curt answer. I simply wanted hair dye and clear 20! developer, but that was apparently too much. Ended Apple driving across town to a different place to get it instead. There's lots of negative reviews about Sally online, mixed in with positive review is. Do not believe the positive reviews. If you know what you want and you're just looking to get in and out, you'll probably be fine. If you need any help at all, it's a different story completely. Successful mostly because they have a quasi monopoly on the industry in the area, not because they're helpful or great."
