Reviews of Sally Beauty
"I would rather eat glass then ever take advice from a Sally Beauty employee again, they will tell you a product is one thing. And then laugh at you the next day when you come in because it was something else and the product actually completely ruins your hair. Then they’ll look you dead in the face and say “it happens “ and giggle."
"I did not get the name of the person who helped me, but it was a beautiful lil human with bright orange hair under a black hat. You helped me pick out hot pink hair color for my 4 year old. The enthusiasm you had in helping me was so nice and made me feel comfortable and trusting. I’ve always had good interactions at this store, but this one was the best! 10/10 will come back specifically for this person."
"Picked up some gloves when I went to go pick up my online order, I get home and they are already ripped coming fresh out of the package. These gloves were packaged after they were ripped, purposefully. Really not cool. If a product breaks/rips, just throw it out. Let the broken product be the trash, not your judgment choice."
"I received a gift card for Christmas and went I’m shortly after. I spoke to a girl named RIVER. She was very pleasant and very willing to help me. I wanted to start using the dip method for my nails instead of acrylic. So she showed me the starter kit. She told me to just try it. She thought I would like it. She said she used it and liked it much better than acrylic. She said they had a very good return policy because I was concerned about that. She told me to keep my receipts just in case. I purchased to starter kit she asked if I wanted a credit card. It would save me money that day. Like 20%. So I got the credit card I tried the product and wasn’t very happy with it so I took it back. She said she would be happy to return my purchase. I told her I didn’t really want money back. I would easily spend the $50 gift card plus the. $20 some dollars I spent to use this kit. Like different colors. She asked me a few questions as to why I didn’t like the dip method. SoI told her. Well, I was doing some things right and yet doing something’s wrong. She explained In detail what I was doing wrong! I ended up keeping what I brought and purchasing even more colors. I went home that evening and with her advise my nails turned out great! I just didn’t like a few of the colors. I spent almost $100 on just the colors. I went back to return them. I was so glad to see her working there. She helped me pick out different colors. She even called me by name! I was impressed!!!! This girl is smart, has excellent customer service, and knew the products she was selling. It wasn’t just the dip powder I had questions about. It was acrylic to. She told me how I could use these products together and even fingernail polish. Sally’s. You made an excellent decision employing River. She should be made an example of because this is HOW TO TREAT A CUSTOMER. She should be in charge of training and given a raise! I’ve shopped there for many years and it is a nice store. The employees are in general all nice, but River is extremely exceptional. By the way. This is the first time I’ve ever commented on line about a business or a person. Call if you have questions. You have my information. I think she deserves something special because she is extremely good at her job!! The business I’m referring to is Sally’s on commercial St by McDonalds. Sincerely Donna Gilbert Salem Oregon."
