"I just wish the staff would better help those who come to use their recycling services. I mean yeah, it must be great to not have to depend on bringing in cans and bottles to be able to cover means for your cars gas or maybe your phone bill or etc., but that doesn't necessarily make it right to treat those who do rely on that service that again your establishment provides to the public, therefore everyone should be treated with the same amount of respect as everyone else who comes to your store. Please remember that and please treat everyone kindly and respectfully no matter if they're a regular customer or someone in need of those recycling services. Thank you."
"I feel like this place is maybe going out of business. I like to support this place, but their shelves are pretty bare. Went in for some Rainier beer. They have NO domestic beers, micro or macro. None! They have like german looking beers. The cooler was maybe 15% full. The back two shelves are basically empty as well. They either have a really f-ed up business plan or they are going out of business."
"The cashier was extremely rude to me and even told me to leave the store for no reason. I wanted to report him to the store owner but the owner wasn't there and I can't find a phone number for the owner. I refuse to go back to that store now. It was totally unnecessary how I was treated. The cashiers name was Jude. He got all up in my face saying I was judgemental all because suggested that they shouldn't advertise that they were robbed and he said I was being judgemental and rude and could leave his store. He was like "I'm not even the owner and you're out of line." I tried to laugh it off and say "I'm not being judgemental, I'm just being concerned. It's constructive advice." I mean all he had to say was "I'll take that under advisement" or "Thank you for your concern." It was just so blown out of proportion and very unprofessional. I wonder how many other people the guy was unnecessarily rude to and how much business and made Belmont Market lose for his attitude?"
"This is a great family owned convenience store. The owner is an awesome guy, a former Chef which is probably why we get along so well. He is super friendly and happy to order products they don't have if you want them in. In a world of 7-Elevens, plaid pantries, and multiple break-ins, it's nice to support a guy who has pictures of his family at the checkout stand. Strongly encourage supporting these guys!"
"The new owners are an INCREDIBLY AMAZING addition to an already popular place/neighborhood!!! Nick is the one I see most often however I know he & his wife bought it as a business for their family. For me it's a no~brainer... I GLADLY drive an extra couple miles {yes, even with gas prices SOOOO RIDICULOUS & while having a fixed income on the lowest end} not only to support a new favorite store but also to get that "Old School" Customer Service. I'm sure most middle aged adults remember what I am referring to, the much missed slogan of: "The Customer is ALWAYS Right?!". Sadly it's nearly extinct, honestly before Nick & family bought the Belmont Market I was convinced it had already gone extinct. Alas, my sadness was replaced with relief, happiness & hope truly. So I am eternally Grateful for the new owners of the Belmont Market for the GENUINELY WONDERFUL PEOPLE/FAMILY they are & for allowing me to dare & hope {REAL} customer service will make a come back! Enough of this HORRENDOUS EXCUSE for customer service & where you feel as if asking an employee for assistance {God forbid} is putting them out. We as consumers have the power to force the change, quit giving your hard earned $$$ to companies that clearly don't value your patronage!"
