"Small, clean, fairly well stocked store for basic building needs. Good quality materials and great service, but the owner should stay in the back away from customers. He was rude to my autistic daughter that was in the store buying materials for her property and embarrassed her unnecessarily. I had picked out materials for her and one of the very helpful employees loaded it for us. I asked if he would mind if my daughter brought her puppy in the store with her to pay, since there was already a couple of dogs inside that belong to the owners. He told us no problem. While at the counter, one of the employees was talking to the puppy and he put his paws on the counter. The owner came around the corner and in a very rude tone told my daughter “Hey get your dog off the counter”. She was so embarrassed and upset she couldn’t speak, so the owner said it again and the dog got down on his own. I told the employees this is no way to treat a woman or someone that has Autism. I also told them we won’t be back, as we are looking for a friendly lumber store to supply our needs for next springs building plans which includes a house, shop and barn. I refuse to deal with disrespectful people especially when they are short or rude to young women. My daughter is a kind and courteous person that should never be treated poorly, especially not as a paying customer in your business. She will buy her house, shop and barn materials elsewhere. Today your big mouth lost you around $70,000. I hope our puppy didn’t get your precious countertop (Cheap Formica or Vinyl) dirty with his freshly washed paws since we had just come from bathing him."
