"Based on my extensive experience and purchase history (across the board), Flipside Hats produce some of the finest quality, softest, warmest, and most comfortable beanies I have ever covered my head with! Very high quality materials used, not the cheapest option (but well worth it), and coming from a fairly small, family owned business. Some of their products can be found at larger companies, like REI, but it's best to purchase directly from Flipside... I now have 3 colors of the Watchman beanie, and I couldn't be happier. Enthusiastically recommended to people who know the difference between good and ultra-premium. This obviously being the latter of the two. A+++++"

"These hats have quite honestly changed my life. As a person with enhanced sensory sensitivity due to being neurodivergent, there are experiences that are absolutely excruciating for me that don't seem to really trouble other people. For example, when I am riding in a vehicle and the windows are rolled down, the wind through my hair causes pain throughout my entire body. I am also sensitive to fans that blow air. The world is full of these small torments and until I found Flipside hats there seemed to be little relief from them. The first hat that I purchased was just so darn cute that I had to have it. I was not prepared for the comfort and the medicine that hat held. It was not just the soft fabric, or the gentle tension squeezing my head, there is some kind of heartfelt tenderness in these hats. I have purchased several of these hats at Natural Grocers and one at the Made in Oregon store. I recommend these hats as a fashion accessory, but also for anyone with sensory sensitivity - these are almost like a weighted hat because they squeeze the head just enough that it feels like a nervous system release.
