"What a great theater!! The Dolphin Playhouse is run by an amazing lady who was super fun to work with. My band played a show here last night and it was great. The theater has a great lighting setup! Very impressive. Not sure how much of the sound system was there for the night or not but things were impressive. It’s a really neat historic theater with fun concessions like great popcorn and soda. The seats are comfortable. Spaced great. It’s a fun spot to visit and I highly recommend making it a destination in Coos Bay! Has the fun coastal charm lots of the new stuff is missing."
"Absolutely loved the show."
"I wish I had a bouquet of flowers for every performer and the pianist. What a great many beautiful voices and actors. The 'salute to unforgettable songs' was a real delight, thank you all!"
"Really old fashioned theater that makes you feel more a part of the show than I have ever felt."
"This is a very cozy and fun playhouse. The staff are mostly volunteers and are passionate about their work. The play was well done and I had an absolute blast watching it! This is an historic building that started out as a theatre and went on to go through a number of incarnations. The volunteers who are trying to bring it back to it's former intimate glory are doing a good job from what I could see. Drawbacks are it is very small, it has about 50 seats total, the stage is quite small. The acoustics are wonderful! I sometimes have a hard time hearing and had no issue here at all."
