"There are two known racists who work on the lumber producing side of this mill. They have a long history of working together to get people of color fired. I am a Caucasian man but these two men made it a point to harrass my Hispanic friends who worked alongside me. These two men are close friends with the boss and CEO of the company, so they have immunity from being reprimanded in any way. The manager of the lumber producing side of the mill is a man with no integrity. He will throw you under the bus the first chance he gets, all while smiling at you. He is affiliated with a gang and mostly hires his friends who are also in said gang. It's a foolishly named gang that refers to a type of insect. I was a model employee, I went far beyond what was expected of me. I was absurdly quick and efficient but that didn't seem to matter to anyone at this company. This company violates the law with it's open racism. I was denied time off for some medical needs. I was "punished" alongside my coworkers if we did anything that the boss felt made him look bad (he's a contracted boss, so he simply wants to look good on paper to corporate. This "manager" has no spine. The man who ran the saws that cut the lumber wasn't much better. He would smile as he spoke to employees, only to slam them in conversation moments later. I quit. They didn't let me go. They didn't fire me. I walked out and never came back after they made one final racist jab towards my Hispanic friend. I sincerely hope someone sues this company. It won't be me, but if I could I probably would."
