"NOT 24 hours"
"I love plaid pantry! Beats 711 by a landslide!"
"I work at this Plad Pantry 5 nights a week. Only 2 students are allowed in at a time because of theft. Teenagers have been the biggest shoplifters in are store. Our sign is very clear that it is high school and younger students. It does not say a mother is to leave her children in the car even babies. I know when the person was in the store and had an issue with this sign it was clearly explained to him why only 2 students were allowed in at a time. My second night training at this store 4 teenage boys came in and stole over $300 worth of food products. Every small mini mart whether it's a chain or a mom and pop store has the same policy as we do. When we have products stoled the company has to make up that money somehow. That leads to higher prices for people that want to purchase their items. If you've noticed most of the Plaid pantries within a mile of this location are not open at night. They don't open till 6:00 a.m. and that is because of theft We have a lot of great repeat customers that come in including teenagers. We are not discriminating against age. And too the person that was complaining he wasn't able to buy his rose wine after 2:30 it is an Oregon law that no alcohol is to be sold between 2:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m."
"Staff is always very nice, but wow. This location has set them selves up for a very easy law suit. Age discrimination only shows the owners lack of ability. They will not let more then two people under the age of 18 in at one time. Meaning if you have 3 little kids, you have to leave them in your hot car or in the streets. Also, better not let a baby in when two kids are shopping because now your being even more discriminating. Surprised someone didn’t think this through"
"Tonight. The guy at the register wouldn’t sell me a can of rosé because it was after 2:30am? On the basis that it was 2:30 and store policy??? No where in Portland let alone Oregon have I run into this policy. Can someone please help this person? Left all the other things at the counter that I was going to purchase. Walked away empty handed. In an economy such as this. How is this even remotely a business model? What a tool."
