"The Portland Commercial Furniture team did an exceptional job of finding quality office furniture at a great price. Their installation team was fantastic, and they responded quickly to any issues."
"Mike Drebes is someone you can count on to handle your office furniture needs in a timely and cost effective fashion. He outfitted our new office with furniture that was perfect for the layout and the times, and all within our budget. When we have to call them about something that needs attention they are right out fixing the problem usually the same day. I couldn't recommend Portland Commercial Furniture and Mike Drebes more highly."
"Mike Drebes at Portland Commercial Furniture has been a trusted advisor and vendor for 15+ years. He consistently delivers value and expertise to my clients and always in a friendly and timely manner. I would reccomend his firm without hesitation."
"We've used Portland Commercial Furniture for many years and love working with Mike. He knows the industry like few others do and always has great solutions for any issue that might come up. I'm always happy to refer Mike to other companies as he's taken such great care of our needs. Whether we're in need of new, used or remanufactured products, he's got all the bases covered. PCF represents the best products so we know we're always getting high quality furniture."
"After decades of reliable service from this company we are walking away very unhappy. We had a very large reconfiguration of our office and need to have this company take apart and put together the partitions. I called Mike D. and he promptly showed up to go over what we had in mind. In our initial meeting we walked through the entire office and I showed him the types of partitions we were using. He told us that we couldn't connect the different types to each other and we responded that they wouldn't be connecting them. We planned three separate sections utilizing the same type of walls in each section. Mike and I sat down with our drafter who was working on the layout with the different types of walls, but informed him there might be some slight changes to the plan. I offered him my paper copy which he took. I also told him I would send a copy as soon as the plan was finalized. He asked for our timeline and I told him we would like to plan it for July 7th, but it all depended on hiring a moving company to pack up and move our furniture, books and offices. He responded with "we can do that, we have movers that I can add to your quote" I replied that that would be great, I would rather not have to coordinate with two companies and have them get in each other's way. Mike and I scheduled a follow up appointment for July 3rd or 5th depending on his project manager’s schedule. At that meeting we were to have the final layout and he would bring his project manager Patrick to go over all the details. However, he cancelled the meeting twice so we were never able to meet before the move. Mike also said he would send me a quote – I never received one). July 3rd, 1:23PM: no show/no phone call from Mike about our planned meeting, I sent him the final layout by email asking if he had any movers available for Friday and that we could start moving our files and extra furniture to our storage area. 2:34PM: “Friday is booked, however, we can accomplish everything on Sat. I’ll follow up” was his response. July 6th, 10:39AM: “Hi Erin, my crew will be there tomorrow at 8am to confirm…thanks!” July 7th: 8:27AM: Text to Mike’s cell phone “Hi Mike, this is Erin the movers haven’t shown up yet and I haven’t had a phone call” Mike: “Just sent Patrick a text. I’ll follow up shortly. My apologies” Mike: “Erin, we will be there at 9am sorry for the delay, thank you.” Erin: “ok, thank you.” Three people showed up at 9ish and had no idea the size of the job and the PM immediately started calling in more help. Two more people showed up around 10:45 and two more in the afternoon. They all worked very hard, but the size of the job was not conveyed correctly and they had no movers, just wall technicians. My boss and I ended up working 50/hrs that weekend to try and have the office ready for our staff on Monday morning. Sunday I was able to plug in my office phone around 4pm and was surprised to have a voicemail from Mike telling me we were on the hook for double time because his guys were working on a Sunday. I had no missed calls on my cell phone, which Mike had from our earlier conversations. I should have cancelled the entire move on July 3rd when our planned meeting with the PM and the quote never materialized. As I said, we will never use them again."
