"I have been going here for years. I got a haircut in December that I really liked; the layering really brought out the wave in my hair. I went back recently for a trim, and the stylist this time did not speak much English. She cut a lot off my hair and ruined the layering, so I have cowlicks sticking out everywhere. I was finger-combing it before. I'm not coming back. I just won't look in the mirror for a month or two."

"If you go to the Great Clips on Washington St. DO NOT let Aurora cut your hair. She had no idea what she was doing, completely messed up my haircut, and then didn’t know how to fix any mistakes. She left hair at irregular lengths all over the place. She couldn’t fade my hair and cut it all one length all around. At one point she stepped away to ask someone else to try and fix the damage she had done and said “I’m going to see what she says before I keep hacking.”. I haven’t had a haircut this bad in a long time. Legitimately appalled right now"

"WARNING.... Great clips is putting people on the job who cannot cut hair ! If this should happen to YOU, (and this place has many bad reviews) no one will take responsibility. Customer service only keeps sending automated responses..."we'll be glad to help" over and over again. My sons have had haircuts here before. They never get great haircuts, but it's in a convenient location for me. This time, my son's haircuts is so bad, he will have to wear a hat for a while (it's uneven everywhere). But worst of all, the lady who cut his hair lost her patience when she realized she couldn't fix it. She threatened me with quitting her job on the spot. She became so upset (really seemed emotionally unstable) she kicked us out of the location. Poor, poor customer service and incompetent "stylist" .... This is after she tried to fix it. And even though I was calm and respectful the whole time, she's the one who lost it and was super rude! Great clips customer service keeps replying the same thing " you can email...we'll be glad to help". I have, and they only keep sending me the same response...you can email... we'll be glad to help. These people Cannot cut hair. That is not an opinion, I'm not saying that because I'm upset (although I should be). great clips is putting people on the job who cannot cut hair. That is not right."

"This location has increasingly become my regular stop for haircuts. I've never noticed much difference between the grooming chain outlets, because people come and go and you never know how your next cut will compare to the previous one. But, even though I regularly see different stylists, this location seems to do a good job of bringing in people who know what they're doing. As far as I can recall, I've always been happy with the cuts that I've received at the Mall 205 location."
