"I called to see if I could get on their list. Was told they can't make appointments and that it's first come, first serve. Asked how late someone can walk in and wait to get a haircut. I was told they close at 6 pm. I said, ok if someone walks in at 5 pm, can they get a haircut before closing?" I was told only if there is time and no one is waiting before you in line. I arrived at 4:40pm, and there were 2 kids and 2 men ahead of me, then a woman walked in (as I thought jy was my turn), and she was able to go ahead of me even though I had been waiting for 45 minutes at that point. I asked why she is in front of me, and they said because she put her name online. Had I been told THAT info when I originally called at 2:45 p.m., I would have put my name down ONLINE instead of walking in to wait more than 45 minutes to get a shampoo/cut. When I arrived, the computer stated there was a 55-minute wait. The lady who had her online appointment DID NOT have her name on the computer when I walked in!!! This seems a bit confusing, and it wasn't addressed. I was told you walked in, and so you have to wait. HOLD ON! I called at 2:45pm Asking how I could either make an appointment or what I could do to ensure I get a haircut. I was never told I could go online and "schedule anything." ISN'T THAT MAKING AN APPOINTMENT (by going online)? Needless to say, the accents from the ladies working inside are hard to decipher. The shampoo cut was basic and that's what I needed. The 4 star is because of BAD communication. Otherwise, it would have been a 5 ☆"
"I used the Great Clips app on my phone to check in and the wait time was very accurate. When I arrived, I only had to wait a few minutes for Lina, the hair stylist. I'm very happy with the way she cut my hair and will continue to use Great Clips for haircuts."
