"I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before I went to this salon. I was in town for the day waiting for my dog to get groomed a couple doors down so I decided to stop in for an acrylic set because their prices said it was only $35. I sat down and picked my colors and when the lady sat down she saw I had picked 2 colors she told me that even though I just wanted a tiny bit of that color it would be an extra $5 for the 2nd color. So I said sure that’s fine and we got started. She asked me what I wanted and I showed her the inspo picture of what I wanted (which is nothing like what I ended up walking out with) and she wouldn’t even really look at it and just kept asking what I wanted and I eventually gave up. We get done with the shape and everything and she asked me to take a look and I pointed out the fact that 4 of my nails were extremely crooked and she said she was could only fix one of them and then proceeded to make it even worse. Then it comes time for the paint and I wasn’t able to get anything I wanted and eventually gave up and just asked for a solid sparkle red and when she was done the nails are so bumpy because there is so much polish at the sides and tips of my nails and barely any acrylic and polish in the center of the nails so they’re curved upwards and feel like they’re going to snap off at any moment. At this point I’m just irritated that I wasted the money and we go up to pay and she tells me that it’s $62 and when I asked why she told me she “decided to do solar instead of acrylic and so it costs more” and when I told her that’s not what I asked for so I’m not paying and extra $25 dollars she told me that well since that’s what I got the best she can do is only charge me 55$ for the set even though their prices were $35 for an acrylic set. At this point I was just so upset that I paid and left."
"I don't recommend this salon. The man I spoke with to make an appointment was abrupt and hung up on me without saying goodbye. When I arrived he was sitting on the couch and was quite unfriendly in greeting me. The nail tech did a horrible job: she didn't remove all my old gel color before putting on the new acrylic, my nails are all uneven in both depth and shape, and she took longer than I am used to. It was so bad, I just laughed telling my friend about it."
"Vicky one of the workers offered me “gel” “ sclach” on toes but never informed me its over $20 more then regular polish and never mentioned if you come back with any on your nails they will charge you additional $10 to sand it off when they do not do that with it on nails. They rip you off cause of the town you live in. The manager never apologized or refunded for not informing me of these major changes and they always want you to pay cash not with card so we accomodate while they do not pay taxes like all of us getting cash and over pricing and taking advantage of consumers. I will never go back due to principle not money. You should not feel like soneone is cheating you of your money ever and they should have their prices out in open to see not assume we know as they have no clear signs when offering prices or changes in treatments without letting you know all costs. I am reporting them to bbb and hope others in LO pick others nail places that are fair to the consumers."
"Came in with my daughter without an appointment. The window mentioned that walk ins were welcome. The best way to describe the service was short and curt. The gentleman who sat us down said that he could do the dip, but the salon didn’t have time to do my daughters acrylics. He suggested that she get a dip as well and when she declined he kept being pushy about it. He seemed irritated that I didn’t bring a nail file and said it would be $2 extra. I explained that I understood and had no problem being charged. When he brought over the lady to do my nails she too asked about a nail file and practically yelled $2! In my face. The experience felt like they were drawing unwanted attention to us and we ultimately decided we would spend our money elsewhere."
"Amazing service. My nails look amazing even after a week, see photo for proff. In an age of covid19 they have all precautions. They have screens that separate you from the technicians for both manicure and pedicure. When you walk in the door if you're not wearing a mask they tell you to put on a mask and then ask everyone who walks in the door to use hand sanitizer. I felt that they were talking all precautions and felt safe and was happy with the service."
