"I had the best experience getting a facial and dermaplaning service with Nikaya! She was very calming and the facial itself was so refreshing and cleansing. My favorite part was the hydro-jelly mask which left me skin feeling very hydrated ! I loved the hand, arm and neck massage she did while the mask set in. She provided a relaxing, peaceful and overall just a wonderful environment - I will be coming back soon."

"I am going to preface this by saying I am not the kind of person to write reviews, let alone negative ones, but I feel like I have to after this experience. I have been going there for a few months and had never had an issue until now. A few days ago I went to get a fill, and on my fill I got red chrome hearts, and a pearl bead or two on each nail. Super cute, I was so happy with them when I left so I paid and went on my way. This was at 2 pm, I go about my day and at about 11 pm I notice most of the pearls on my hands are either chipped or the pearl coating on them is gone completely. I reached out to Maggie and asked if she could remove them and if I could have a refund because the coating is coming off after not even a whole day, when nails are supposed to last two weeks. And $15 extra for something that almost immediately came off is frustrating. I was polite, and she told me that there would be holes in my nails where the pearls came off so I then asked if she had a different suggestion on what to do about the pearls. This is when I received an extremely unprofessional and rude message from her saying that her prices are just like anyone else’s, and she doesn’t “ask for refunds if she doesn’t like something.” It seems like she was under the impression I was asking for a refund because I didn’t like my nails, which wasn’t the case, I asked to be refunded $15 because the pearl coating immediately came off and I don’t think it’s fair to pay extra for something to come off the day I got them done. As someone who has worked in customer service since I was 16, I understand when someone asks for a refund it can be frustrating if it seems like they are doing it to get something for free, but I expressed to her that the reason I was requesting one and asking them to be removed was because the coating immediately came off. I have also never asked for a refund or anything of the sorts from her for anything else, so this was extremely unprovoked of her to speak to me like that. The way this was handled was extremely unprofessional, and lacks tact. I was appalled the way she spoke to me, and don’t understand where her attitude stemmed from, because I was being respectful and professional to her. It is a shame that I had this experience, because all my other ones had been pleasant, and I liked the nails they did, but I cannot support someone who refuses to handle an issue that was created due to their poor materials."
