"This is for the shoe repair only. I took my wedge to get the bottom of the heel replaced as it was almost gone. Shoe was in good condition overall. No scuffs on the sides and fabric intact. When I went to pick it up there was a bunch of specks of glue on the side of my shoe and they damaged the fabric around the part they replaced. I asked him about the glue and without a word he just went back inside and attempted to remove it. It had already damaged the fabric so the spots are still there. I have taken shoes there before without any problems. This one was sad, I loved this shoes but I can't wear them to work anymore because of the how raggedy lit looks. Very disappointed"

"purchased these Keen's from them last summer, and one of them is falling apart. I went into the store today and was first told I must have stabbed them with something (that never happened) and then was told they wouldn't replace them because they couldn't locate the purchase. So I guess their return-avoidance policy is (1) blame the customer; and (2) make the customer responsible for the information they put in their system. After over 30 years - Way to lose a long-time customer! UPDATE - after I went home, I found that I had actually saved the original shoe box, and much to my delight, I had the receipt. I returned to Burch's the following week, and though the first person I spoke with initially tried to waive me off (telling me I was just outside of one year), the other person behind the counter (the owner or manager?) spoke up and confirmed I had been in the prior week (under a year), so they made the exchange after all. Never explained why they couldn't locate me in their system the first time around, as it referenced right back to my credit card when we did the exchange. Upgraded review by one star [1-2 range]"
