"I really like this place best at the quieter times of the day. The food is wonderful with a good selection. GF is offered for those who desire it. The menu is smallish but with a good variety. Pub menu. Our service has always been quick and thoughtful. I appreciate the cleanliness here. My only super small issue is how loud it gets when it is a busier time. It's definitely not a star lowering reason, but if anyone wants to converse, go at a less busy time. Be sure to go, especially if you remember this pub as the old bank. They still have the vault door, which is cool to see. Memories."

"We had a delicious dinner. There were five of us. The waiter was very nice. This place is quite popular now, so there are a lot of people there. I recommend that you book a table in advance. We ordered burgers. They were good. But not all sauces for French fries were tasty. But again, everyone has their own taste. I don't know exactly why, but my wife had a stomach ache at night. I would like to believe that it did not happen because of our dinner. Therefore, I will leave a good rating."

"Cool new place right downtown Hillsboro. I’ve enjoyed their beers at their brewery in Washington for years, now I get them close to home! I haven’t tried their food here yet, but the bar service was fantastic and friendly. We ordered a 6-beer sampler flight so we could try everything we wanted. The beers aren’t bad but they could use some improvement, especially their current (12/31/2023) Oktoberfest. It’s buttery. The whiskey barrel aged beer was off the charts beautifully made however! They also knocked their hazy IPA out of the park. Perfectly balanced and smooth easy drinking. I usually avoid IPAs because I’m just sick of them dominating tap lists. But this one was very very good. We can’t wait to return to try their food."

"Been waiting to try Backwoods Brewery and it did not disappoint. They have the vault room that you can hang out in while you wait for your table and we grabbed drinks from the bar to sip on while we waited. Our group of 9 had several different menu items and everyone enjoyed their meal! Tenders & Tots, pulled pork nachos, mushroom burger, ABC chicken sandwhich, little town burger, etc and all were delicious. Not a sweet potato fry or tot left on the plates when we were done- you gotta try the garlic aeoli dipping sauce."
