"Cute and affordable little conveyor belt sushi joint! They are quick and friendly and the assortment of items is large. Bonus, they have online ordering which reflects what is currently available in the store. This is a big reason I miss out on many conveyor belt sushi establishments and Akira makes it possible! Some items like the cheesecake are just okay, but the effort to make many different foods available is appreciated."

"It's so hard to get affordable, unpretentious Japanese food in some places, so I was happy to find this place while traveling. Comfort food options, check. Sizable portion, check. Entrees under $10? I'll definitely come back for that. The rolls aren't long, but they're thick, and the nigiri were large enough that two bites maximized my enjoyment. They give you a silly amount of ginger and wasabi with takeout orders, but that hardly matters when what I'm actually here for is a big honkin' piece of smoked salmon."
