Bosch

"We did not purchase from this store. I don't see a way to get ahold of anyone within the larger company, so I am submitting this rating here at a local store, in hopes of getting someone's attention. Our family received a Bosch rebate through a purchase offer last year at Lowe's, when my twins were only a few months old and bottle feeding. We were busy and the rebate that came was never opened, and I put away for emergency money later. When I recently went to use the funds, I discovered they had expired. Knowing the card issuer was just a bank and would have no ability to help, I looked up the phone number for Bosch & called. I was redirected several times, told a card could be reissued even up to several years later, then redirected several more times. After over an hour and a half on the phone, I was told the card was passed it's expiration and they would not reissue. I realize if I had opened the card, I would have seen the expiration, but no one told me during the purchasing process that the card would ever expire, and so I did not keep my eye out for that. A rebate should be a promise of funds returned, not a marketing ploy with expiration. If you want your dishwasher to be $144.55 more, just charge that price and if your product is worthy it will hold up. I am extremely frustrated at the lack of compassion from this company, and can't believe that someone who spent money with the promise of receiving it back, has just given the universe my gas money. So, who has it? That's the question that remains. Well, not the visa company, but I knew that. Not Lowe's, because they are the same phone number as the visa company. The envelope and return mail address say Bosch, so that's the company I am confronting. I would like my refund returned to me, please. I need the money. I stepped away from a full time teaching job to stay at home mom and raise my adopted twin daughters. I need to use my $141.55 to pay for bills. If you would kindly help me, I would greatly appreciate it. To be sure SOMEONE reads this, I will be adding it to social media in hopes of gaining attention from the right person at Bosch.
