"Friendly people and everything, changed my oil relatively quickly. But when they checked my air filter, they put the filter back in upside down, didn't clip half the air box closed, AND wrenched on the box hard enough to disconnect a hose which threw off the gas/air ratio to where it made my car horribly inefficient until my fiancé fixed it. Convenient but not worth having to put my back together afterwards"

"It's usually pretty quick to get in and out of here, and the folks working are always friendly. For those reasons, they didn't get a one star review. Unfortunately, the last time I was in here they were really pressuring me to get my differential fluid replaced, even telling me that it had metal shavings in it and I "really need to do it soon" or I would be in danger. Well, I got home and checked my service history and the differential fluid had been changed by my mechanic within the past 12 months. This a mechanic that I've been working with for years, and have no reason to suspect his shop wouldn't do right by my vehicles. It's a shame, but I'll have to find somewhere else to go for quick oil changes after this dishonest treatment at the River Road Valvoline."

"I went in to have my oil checked. They topped it off and told me I was good for another 1000 miles before I needed it changed. Then they checked my tire pressure, windshield wipers, which I needed desperately. Gave me 20% senior discount for the wipers. The top off was only a couple of bucks. I'm pretty impressed with the service. I will choose Valvoline every time."
