Sizzler 1010 Postal Way, Springfield, OR 97477

"It's been a few years after Sizzler has gone out of business in my area. Hopeful it would be higher quality than I recall, I was disappointed at the quality of food served. The salad bar was fair, except the crab mixture was infused with these huge chunks of imitation crab meat which I'm pretty sure are best served after being peeled into thinner strips (like string cheese) and these chunks were almost to the nasty with a strong fishy odor and taste. Nothing else really did it for me at the salad bar, it was marginally good. I got the steak and shrimp AYCE. The shrimp was rubbery and chewy, not complimented by the hard, stiff crunch of the overcooked coating. The cocktail sauce was watery and tasted like a vinegar paste. The steak was more appropriate for my dog to eat, tough....chewy...grizzly...hard to swallow even after sufocating in Heinz 57. The baked potato looked good and I'm sure at one moment it was hot. Upon serving it was cold and inedible. Sorry, but it used to be a nice treat."

"The Malibu chicken was really greasy and so much smaller than last year when I had it previously. The restaurant was terribly short staffed and really busy, yet staff still had a good attitude. I miss the good food from the ol days!"

"I guess I came here to satisfy my nostalgia & my hunger for a variety of food, but this was the worst "meal" my family & I have ever experienced while dining out. How bad can you mess up a salad bar? The salad components, although they looked appetizing, tasted so sad. Sadder was the "taco" bar with broken taco shells & old taco meat. The complimentary cheesy bread was served with pride, bless the server, but for what? The cheese was charred on the untoasted white bread & we tried to eat it again & again but could not finish one single slice. I feel bad for the workers that have to serve here but worse for the customers that pay $20 for a subpar salad bar."

"We ate at Sizzler for the first time yesterday and we enjoyed it. Not only was I able to eat grilled shrimp but also tasty spaghetti and grapes. My gf had steak and Italian herb chicken which she really liked. We will definitely return."
