"I had Larsell Mechanical design, fabricate, and install a total hvac system about 9 years ago and have been mostly pleased with the result. A couple of little problems arose and they were handled quickly and efficiently. My ac compressor blew while I was out of town and I returned to a 102 degree home (111 outside.) I called Larsell and they told me they only service existing clients. I explained that I was a client, and the receptionist said I would get a call back. I never got the call. The next morning it was 88 degrees in my house and I called Larsell again. I was told it would be 2 weeks until someone could come out. During the worst heatwave in history. I suspected that the problem was the capacitor, so I took the unit apart and determined that was the problem. I called Larsell to ask if it would be possible to purchase the part and replace it myself. I was told “we don’t do that.” During the worst heatwave in history. Choose carefully the craftsmen who do work for you. Hvac places these days only service their own work, and if you choose Larsell to do your Hvac you are likely to be stuck with few alternatives but to wait however long they say to get service when something goes wrong."
