"Saturday, Feb, 17th 2024 whoever the barista is who was scheduled and arrived to work at 7am on this date need to be fired or retrained immediately i spend roughly 150$ a month on black rock coffee and tip everytime no matter she was the first one i denied a tip for because she seemed to be more worried about her instagrams and snapchat then our cup of joe and this is not the first time she’s ruined our morning she dosnt respect our hard earned money or her job at all would like my money back or a replacement or at the least an apology for this cup of hardly shaved ice she gave me instead of a chiller"
"Love everything about this place... so do a million other people. Lol! The line was much longer than usual but I wanted my drink! So I stayed. Employees are always super nice and always smiling. I'll be back again soon..."
"When I finished paying I asked about my phone number, because I never have gotten a text receipt from them before. I’ve grown up in Keizer, and have been to this location a handful of times, but recently moved back about a month ago. I was told it wasn’t my phone number or name under the account with my card. Which made sense, I had a friend use my card at this location. I asked to have that simply changed, which didn’t seem like an issue to the main barista, except maybe the fact she needed a manager’s approval? to change my own account information, weird? Also there was two other cars in the line, very transparently causing some stress and irritability that I could easily read off of the managers face as she was approaching near the window. To be frank her response and demeanor to me sitting my car, just simply asking a question regarding my account, was distasteful, and rude. I was extremely surprised that she chose to be rude about it, then super helpful. Baffled, You’d think someone who is a “management figure”, would even know the basic of the job. service. that should be her worry in that moment, not the fact she has two other cars in a line, and a “annoying customer” that just asked to have something changed or looked at. I am paying customer, whose account isn’t even under my name? I have a right to want that changed. For some reason after I asked, the manager wouldn’t take her eyes off me. So I went ahead and looked at her right back. As if I was being rude, but I was literally sitting there with the other barista. She then proceeded to act as if I had offended her, or was coming off rude by asking to have my number changed? It was a very uncomfortable unpleasant experience, I simply was wanting to change my account info. Didn’t want my friends number associated. Instead got stared down and made to feel like I was a “problem”, from simply asking a question about how the account works lol. Please do better, we’re all human."
"The coffee is okay. I ordered a blended mocha and it was decent. It was pretty run-of-the-mill, flavor-wise. I am a huge fan of real heavy whipping cream, so I don't love it when coffee shops use premade whipped cream from a can. It gives a bad flavor to the last dredges of the coffee. The service was far below average. I haven't been to Black Rock before and I felt like I did something wrong when I asked a question about the menu. The woman in the window seemed cranky. I felt like I was really putting her out to be placing an order."
"Way better than Dutch brothers and other coffee shops in my opinion. There are also 3-4 girls that know my order whenever I come through. I feel so embarrassed but they never make me feel that way. Always so kind and welcoming that it makes me keep coming back. You ladies are all so amazing!!"
