"To be honest when I saw the restaurant entrance I don't expect to much about this restaurant but I was completely wrong about that, this is one of the most impressive Italian restaurants I been, the food was amazing the service people very gentile, I ordered a new york steak was incredible but the star of the night was my wife dish Pesto linguini with shrimp totally delicious, about the pizza I only need to say Amazing! Thank you for everything for sure I'll recommend this restaurant and I'll come back again!"
"Saw the good reviews on-line and was not disappointed. Service was great and accommodating, restaurant was unassuming and comfortable. I had the calzone and was able to customize it because it’s made in-house. Big chunks of mild sausage, green onions and the sauce made the dish. Pizza was delicious and the sauce on everything was like Sunday gravy and had just the right amount of garlic. We’ll be back and you should go!"
"So I finally went to Geppetto's after seeing many inspiring videos about their standards of humanity as well as positive reviews regarding the food. I walked into their very unassuming storefront excited to see what I would find. I was seated in the dining room area and there is where my experience began. I was quickly greeted with silverware, menu and water. When my server came to take my order, I asked many questions as well as for recommendations. I ordered the cannelloni garibaldi and a combination pizza. Both were delicious, but what really surprised me was the caesar salad. It was fantastic on every level from amazingly fresh romaine, to the chilled plate and obvious scratch caesar dressing. I had casual conversation with my server as well. I asked her about the owners and the videos I've seen including one around the holidays that almost brought tears to my eyes. She instantly replied with "the owners are fantastic employers and people." That instantly made my dining experience better. I was glad to be spending my money there. The Hoys made it out to my table for a quick introduction which was nice. Roger and Julie are genuinely kind people. Also their employees represent them extremely well. The bartender is all over the restaurant and everybody there works as a team. It was a great dining experience in a very nice space. I would have never guessed looking from the outside. Never judge a book by its cover. I will definitely be dining here again soon."
"The moment we were seated the hostess asked if we had been there before, our answer was no. She then proceeded to exclaim that we were in for a treat because all of their stuff was homemade, we quickly found out that was not the case. Their menu listed they're cannelloni was a crepe-like pasta, it was a lasagna noodle that was not homemade. It was suppose to have a creamy tomato sauce and cheese on top. As soon as the dish was delivered I could tell that it had been microwaved, the cheese was rubbery and the sauce was coagulated. My niece had the cheese tortellini soup that was basically broth with store bought pasta with a little parsley thrown in. My nephew ordered a deep dish pizza and their sauce was so watery it softened the crust and pooled in the pan. He also asked if they could use a white sauce on it and the waiter had to run to the kitchen and ask and the answer was "No". We ordered fried mushrooms which were also clearly frozen served with bottled ranch. Their focaccia bread was also clearly store bought with some butter, garlic and parsley added on top. Considering the promise made by the hostess on arrival and the waiter having to run to the kitchen to see if they had what we were ordering was disappointing, we won't be going back. At one point the hostess that seated us was so excited she brought the special someone had ordered to our table to show it to us, then ran off to deliver it to the customer that ordered it. I would not want to eat food that had been brought to another table and lowered down for someone to see. If you know anything about food you will be able to tell nothing about this place is homemade."
