"I made an appointment to get a third opinion on a molar, which has a broken instrument (file) from a 2004 root canal, that ten years later needed a crown. Dr Whicker took x-rays and did an assessment and said that the molar is now showing signs of either infection or scar tissue but was hesitant to do any work without seeing historically what had gone on with the roots of this molar. The next day I was able to track down all my old x-rays and have them sent to Dr. Whicker so he could determine which of the two scenarios it was. They promptly reviewed the images and gave me the result: infection. I now have an appointment to get the molar extracted and the periodontal ligament cut, along with a bone graft in a few weeks, for what I consider a very reasonable price. I’ll eventually be able to get an implant and get this ongoing problem resolved. Overall, I feel Dr. Whicker is very ethical and didn’t jump to a conclusion just to earn a fee, something I felt a previous endodontist had done when I had sought a second opinion. I’m glad I found a holistic dentist in Eugene, and I will undoubtedly be going here for all my future dental needs."

"This dentist office was dishonest with me. I told them that I needed a cavity filled but that I was not wanting x-rays. They gave me a vague response and told me to come in anyways. When I came in the dentist told me right off the bat that for any kind of drilling to be done he would need x-rays as per policy goes. So I literally paid Dr. Wicker $100 consultation fee for him to utter a few words which should have been told to me over to phone when I asked. They know their policy so why did they not tell me. What you guys did was very disingenuous."

Dr. Whicker and the team is absolutely on point. Kind, compassionate, professional and practical. They are the best at informed consent- he will tell you exactly what he is doing and why he is doing it at any moment. I leave the office feeing taken care of and cared for instead of abused and taken advantage of. He even reaches out later in the day to check up on you makes sure everything is alright. "I visited Dr. Whicker for a tooth extraction and bone graft for a future implant placement. I am a Denturist (I fabricate and fit dentures). I see patients on a daily basis with fresh extractions and often times sutures. I was so impressed with Dr. Whicker! He was kind and courteous and very professional. He made sure that I was comfortable with each step of the procedure and talked to me and explained what he was doing throughout the process. The extraction site looks amazing and his sutures are impeccable. The staff were very friendly and the office is pristine. I will definitely be referring not only my friends and family, but my own patients to Dr. Whicker for dental treatments. I am so pleased!"
