"Gas pump area looked great... no liter, no puddles of soda or oil, etc. It was being swept as I pulled in. The man offered to pump my gas politely. Used the restroom which was also very clean and made a purchase. Cashier was handsome and friendly."

"If I could give zero stars I would!!Staff is NOT helpful at all. Came to put air in tires and wasn't working at all. Went to try and get my money back and they tried to get me to pay again. Told me to go to the other hose, did that then went back in in hopes they were going to use what I lost for the other. Nope!! Such a scam!! No air pumps work. So unless you want to waste 5 dollars and have no help do not go there!!"

"I never go to the south Chevron due to they have the highest gas prices in town. But, I had to stop to fill up and head to Newport for an appointment Friday afternoon. To my surprise, I was meant by a very nice gentleman with this beautiful smile. He said "good afternoon. How can I help you?" I told him what I needed then he asked if I had a Safeway club card. I gave him my phone number and he did his thing. As I sat in my car, I watch him go back and forth, zig-zagging getting to the cars as they pull in. Five minutes later, he came back, put the gas hose up, and told me how much I owed. I paid him and thanked him for reminding me to use my Safeway club card. It saved me a few cents but every cent counts. He asked if I wanted my windsheild cleaned because it was very dusty dirty. I said "sure, why not." He even did my back window. How nice! When he finished washing my back window, he came to me and said "all cleaned." I thanked him and he said, " no problem." As I started my car, he told me to have a good evening and to be very careful because of the Labor Day weekend. As I pulled away, I thought how this guy was so considerate and thoughtful taking his time telling me to be carefull before I left. I will be coming back to this gas station soon. This man: Walker was the name on his name tag, was so, so nice, he makes me feel like a #1 customer. How he treated me, is what customer service is all about. I hope he stays at that station for for a long time. THANK YOU WALKER!"

"The woman who was working today sept. 1st 2020 at 830pm was very unprofessional yelling at customers had an attitude and the store was kind of run down! I mean if you dont like ur job and you have to have an attitude then get a different job not working with the public! Jmo! The guy was not rude sympethetic to a customer and was more professional than that lady! Management really needs to evaluate who is working with their customers and educate them on customer service and how to treat people! Only rating 1star because the guy was professional and did know how to do his job!"
