"Fast and friendly service. A very knowledgeable staff. Great value on many automotive services. Employees that go above and beyond what I expected. A great experience. That's why I have been going to Valvoline Instant Oil Change for years. A name you can trust. S.L."
"I really like the whole "Assembly Line" style of service. You pull in to the drive way and never leave your vehicle. Almost like a Carwash or Fast Food Drive-Thru. When you get to the front of the line (I was 5 cars back, and it only took 25-30 minutes) you tell them what you want, then just sit back and relax while you have 5 or 6 guys running around the car changing, charging, and filling stuff. The next thing you know ... BOOM ..... You're out of there!"
"I’ve been going here for several years with 2 cars. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. Since I don’t put a lot of miles on my car I will sometimes stop there between oil changes. They will check the various oils, top off and if my car isn’t ready for a change they will tell me to come back in a month. They won’t try to sell me a change that isn’t needed. The young woman who runs the computer is very knowledgeable. Her boyfriend is a mechanic with his own business and has done excellent work for me. I once discussed a car that I was considering buying with one of the young men. He didn’t give me advice but suggested that I have a mechanic look at a certain year range of that model .He’d seen problems. That’s good, dependable service."
"Used to love this place, when it was oil can Henry's they were great. However, the cameras that used to show you what they were attempting to do, are now gone. The crew tried to upsell me on every service imaginable, none of which I needed. This explains the long wait times. They also vacuumed the the oil out, which does not save you any time when you have to remove the oil filter and skid plate anyway. They were friendly enough, but I don't appreciate the waiting and upselling. Note: I do my own maintenance, and I am a mechanic. I only get oil changes at a quick lube because it is usually quick."
"I have been a loyal customer at this shop for many years, always appreciating the quick and amazing customer service from the guys. They have never pressured me into any extra services, which I value. Despite moving to the North side of town, I continued coming here for my basic oil change needs. However, today was a completely different experience. On a Saturday morning before noon, I joined the line for service, but it became evident that the line was moving extremely slowly. Even though they had only two cars in front of me. I patiently waited but I had a scheduled appointment at 1:30 pm, and it was clear that I wouldn't make it on time. I approached a woman and asked how much longer it would take to move the line. She apologized and explained they were trying out a new staff member. I explained my time constraints, but her offer to let me skip the oil change and move ahead in the line was not acceptable to me. I insisted on getting my oil change done today since that was the purpose of my visit. Finally, after 1:10PM I made it into the service bay, where I met Tyler, who was very polite and skillful in deescalating the situation. He offered me a coupon as a gesture of goodwill. At that point, I mentioned that Manager Shane had told me I needed to change my brake lights, and Tyler was about to attend to that when Manager Shane came over to talk to me. I expressed my frustration, stating that training new staff on busy Saturdays was not ideal and affected other customers' time and commitments. I felt upset that my day had been ruined, and I was late for my appointment. Unfortunately, Shane responded by arguing with me, which only added to my disappointment. I tried to make it clear that I wasn't there to argue, but simply to get things done efficiently. I also suggested that they inform customers in advance if there might be delays due to training, allowing people to make informed decisions about waiting or rescheduling. He told Tyler not to change my break lights (I think he was very sensitive to my corrective criticism feedback) It saddened me that one person's lack of customer service skills, and making strategic decisions in busy times and inability to deescalate situations could have such a negative impact on the business. In contrast, I want to give Tyler five stars for his excellent service and attitude. He should be a manager! But I won’t come back here! P.S. picture taken at 1:10 PM And I see I am not only one who’s complaining about the same thing=common denominator. Best of luck!"
