"The epitome of overpriced poor quality americanized "chinese" food. The restaurant was ill prepared for Christmas eve... our 530pm reservation for 6 was seated on time and we placed our order with 10 minutes but weren't served for nearly 2 hours later .. one hour and fifty two minutes to be exact. After an hour and a half they offered our table of six a "free" bowl of soup sized for 2 to 3, for us to share which was about 1/2 cup per person ... it was warm gelatinous egg drop soup (1 star). Our server Jalen was friendly and attentive (4 stars) and neither the poor quality of the food nor the incapacity of the kitchen (1 star) was his fault and he did bring the entries out together. The food was of laughable proportions - as if you had split it or shared it family style and what was on your plate was your share of the order not the full plate itself. The $21 honey chicken was agreeable to the guest that had it (3 stars) but nothing remarkable, the honey shrimp was not appreciated by either guest as it was salty sugary sticky mess tasting of something but not honey and it was five small breaded shrimp for $24 (1 star). All three of these dishes were served on a obtuse anount of greasy fried rice noodle that tasted like greasy Styrofoam and were really not edible but did help to distract from how little food you had received. The lo mein noodle were panda express plated (1 star). Awful. And if you are saying to yourself ... "hey whats wrong with Panda Express" then PF Changs is the right place for you. If you expect chefs that can prepare high quality entrees worthy of a $25 to $30 price, with expert use of ingredients other than salt, cornstarch, and oil, and use vegetables, and spices to reward your pallet then this is not the place for you. Of note - my family were the only Asians in the entire packed restaurant... that ought to tell it all right there. My pepper steak was suspiciously missing the peppers and while the beef was a moderate quality... it was maybe 3 ounces of meat in a sickenly salty gelatinous gravy (2 stars). My wife had two appetizers .. a make yourself "signature lettuce wrap" that was, unbelievablely, served with iceberg lettuce not nappa, asian greens,or even or a quality romain greens to wrap the 1 cup of chopped chicken filling for $15.50 !!! (1 stars) and her kung poa brussels sprouts which were not bad, but not necessarily great, might have actually garnered a stronger rating if it weren't for the fact it was 8 pieces, halved, for $11 (2 stars). Rice ... the staple and best supporting actor for all Asian dishes ... was, I swear to god, minute-rice (0 star). My daughter got a virgin peach boba breeze that was 99% ice, bottled peach juice znd 6 little boba and gone in 30 seconds. We ate Christmas dinner here because our favorite place- taste of Sichuan in Hillsboro was closed due to a kitchen fire. The atmosphere was upscale feeling, but super noisy making regular and easy conversation a tiring shouting event and since we like and enjoy each other's company was not ideal (although to be fair taste of sichuan can be pretty noisy too). Bathrooms were clean and up kept. Changs is to Chinese like Olive Garden is to Italian but at least OG has the decency to be mid-priced in line with the quality of the food. Overall - PF Changs is a terrible overpriced hot mess and did not warrant any of the $185 bill."
"Overpriced skimpy dishes should be labeled extra carbs and light protein. This is not a typical Chinese restaurant where you can share with family as the portions are so underwhelming for more than 2 people. First time sampling and never attending again. What's shameful is the lettuce wrapped chicken is self wrap with a lazy chunk of cabbage, the lowest vegetable out there. No seasoning required. Worst offender is the beef broccoli with smallest chunk of beef that could been called half grounded dish. See the damnation in the pictures. You can buy an inch ribeye steak from Winco for $5..."
"Tried this place for the first time and it has a very comfortable, professional, and calming atmosphere. The food and drinks are excellent, well prepared, and the waiting staff are very professional and well mannered. Definitely a great place to take a date on, eat something different and healthy, and enjoy the local shopping centers and IMAX movie theater while your at it!"
"Would not recommend! I saw the overall stars for both in-town are 4/5, with a lot of reviews. I found a blog that said it was like an up-scale Panda Express, and decided it was worth a try. The crab wontons were pretty good, but the sauce could have been better. The entrees though were so bad. I got sweet & sour chicken and the batter was falling off it. (Idk that seems odd.) I traded with my partner because we couldn’t tell if we got the wrong dishes. His was supposed to be spicy, but wasn’t at all. The sauces were so off. They had too much vinegar in them, and overwhelmed the flavor of the whole dish. The rice was also very bad. It tasted like bagged rice you boil. My partner said it didn’t taste at all different from their frozen food line, and I’d agree. It really wasn’t worth visiting this restaurant. Honestly, Panda Express has much better food at half the cost. I’d also like to add that the bowls have a bump at the bottom so it looks like you’re getting more food than you really are."
"Sea bass was delicious!! We also got the chicken lettuce wraps and the Wagyu steak. Everything was hot, tasted great, and didn't take as long as we expected for a Saturday night with homecoming going on. It was my first time here, and I'll definitely be going back!!"
