"We visited once before, but I never reviewed it. This visit was very good. We asked for a table where we could see the gas fireplace on the deck overlooking the lake, but inside because it was cold and rainy outside. We were seated by a window with a perfect view. The lighted water fountain was beautiful, and the fireplace added a comfortable feeling. The grilled pastrami was delicious, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the hamburger. It's definitely a place worth a visit."

"Do Not Eat Here! Dirty table, food on chair, dirty plates and silverware. Lazy poor service. Once you order they never come back. One gal when we were almost done asked is everything ok; but, never even stopped to hear our answer. Very rude! Spent 20 mins just trying to flag down a server to get our check as they don't make eye contact on purpose. And the food was horrendous! We left more food than we ate; and we ate nothing all day so we could enjoy our meal. Our son took us out for a special evening; and this was nothing of the sort. Never ever coming back! Thirsty lion is a much better choice."

"Overall a pretty good restaurant, they have a fairly limited menu of American food but some classy selections, though the prices are surprisingly affordable. Their sidewinder fries are fantastic and addictive, and they go well with the burgers for sure. They also have some fancy flatbread pizzas, though the one I got was a bit much for me and would have preferred something more simple. I would have preferred more simple classics on the menu too, such as a plain macaroni and cheese for example. I would highly recommend the chocolate torte for dessert though, and I thought it was unique and well-made. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and clean, festive for the holidays in some areas, which matches the lovely exterior."

"Really amazing place to eat! They have outdoor seating with views of the pond with water feature, ducks, geese, great blue heron, kingfisher. The food we ordered was delicious, fresh, not a long wait to be served. Chicken wings had plenty of meat on them and the sauce was yummy!"
